On 2017 Ford Expedition, remove three 13mm bolts that hold the accelerator pedal. Then access to remove and replace this part is easy. 8mm or 5/16 screws used on it. This corrected the clicking problem under the dash as well as air not coming out the main vents..

Fit perfectly. Got it in today. It’s hard to get the screws in and off… but at least you don’t have to take the dash apart on these Ford Navigators and Expeditions. It’s working smooth now. Will update if it fails.

Update: 10/2024 dropped from 5 stars to 1 star. I bought this part and installed less than six months ago and it didn't last six months. It is making that aweful clicking noise again. I guess it is time to buy an OEM part.My F150 started making annoying humming sounds, that after a few months turned in to clicking sounds. A simple research on you tube and I found that the heater blend door is the culprit. I called the local dealership and I was told and it is a nine hour job and would cost me upwards of $800 to replace it.Original review: I found the part number and this product was exact match to my broken OEM part. After watching a few more you tube videos I discovered that we can replace this part from the bottom side without removing the entire front panel. After removing three 13" bolts so I can move the accelerator out of the way, it took me total of may be 25 minutes to replace this part. I installed this product a few weeks ago and so far it is working flawlessly. No more humming or clicking sounds and air conditioning is actually working now. Hopefully this product will last longer than the OEM counterpart.

Easy installation had to remove gas pedal but that’s not difficult. Would of given 5 stars but it was missing the alignment tool that it said it comes with. :-(

Es un poco incómodo el reemplazarla uno mismo, pero no es algo que no pueda uno hacer sin necesidad de mecánico o eléctrico, dos tornillos y un conector, el engrane trae una muesca que debe de coincidir con el selector en donde entra el actuador y listo. Es un trabajo que no toma más de 15 min hacer.
