This lasted 1 week before the gears broke to pieces. I should have just bought a good one locally.

This actuator is for the unit directly behind the radio. I have a 2010 F150 and the dealer specifies a nine hour job completely removing the dash to replace this unit. The rear screw on the unit is located on the backside and there's only a 1/4" clearance which even the smallest micro socket set can't access. I used a 1" putty knife that I heated with a torch to cut the old unit apart to gain access to the back screw with a racheting boxwrench. I installed the new unit with only the front screw. The actuator itself was a perfect fit and worked great.

Not 100% on correct fitment. Purchased for 06 Navigator. Internet shows different options for 06 being the change over year. Have not tried to install yet. But quality of part looks to be good and if it is the right one for my application only time will tell

It's not easy to install as it was engineered by Ford to be that way. They want you to pay 9 hours labor to take the whole dash out. Not necessary as there are YouTube videos showing how to replace it. Of course mine was the upper one not so bad. Front screw easy to extract but the rear one is really hard to get to. Just need a miniture socket set to get the rear one out. When I put it back in I hooked it to power and turned the key on and the gear drive turns until it will go back in the slot. I just put the front screw in as that was tight enough to hold it. There is a tab in back so it can't move. My two cents
