Perfect fit for my 2008 Taurus. Just like original ... came with a little adapter if you need to change the position of the cam.

It has lasted approximately two years. Now I will need to replace it again. Amazing that the oem can last 11 years vs this last two. I guess that what you get for the money.

Installed 2 years ago and it is still working. Looks like an exact replacement for a Ford part

The part installed and works fine on my 2010 Taurus - as a replacement recirculating / fresh air door actuator. Only thing in the box was the actuator... no alignment tool.

This is exactly what you need to free the little Critter making the nocking noise behind the glovebox door every time you start your 2010-201.... Ford Taurus.Finding out is as easy as opening and simultaneously pushing in both sides of the glovebox door to release it just enough to unclip the annoying support strut from the little hole on the left side allowing you to fully lower the glovebox door. Now right there front and center is the offending actuator (Critter). Unplug it by sliding back the little fun to figure out if you don't already know how too tiny red safety clip, then and only then you can depress the black clip and unplug it.At this point you can start the car and check to make sure the noise has stopped, OR before unplugging it you can put your hand on it start the car and feel if Ford's version of an indash woodpecker has flew the coop. Either way after that there's only two 7mm screws to remove and it pulls right out. Installation is basically the same as removal with the exception of making sure the teeth on the gear are clocked to the right position thus allowing it to plug in, and screw it back together. Don't worry it can only go in one way and you'd have to try pretty hard to get it wrong. Finally plug the electrics back in, resecure the red safety clip (or not) and give it a go. At this point the little Critter that's been nocking to get out of the dash should finally be free.👍

This, for me, was a direct replacement part on a 2008 Mercury Sable. The Sable has two of these; 1 behind the glove box, and the other on the driver's side under the dash just above the gas pedal. This part will fit/work to replace either of the two actuators for this car, mine was needed for the drivers side. Not bad to replace, two screws plus an electrical connection and its ready to use. The part is working perfectly, no more clicking and now I can use the heated air from the heater core too.

I couldn't be happier with this Dorman replacement. The fit and function is perfect.
