Vac quit. Old cord was dry rotted,new cord was super easy to install and my vacuum lives to vacuum another day!

Since I replaced the cable, I have noticed that my vacuum can't normally work anymore, it keeps stopping after about 1~2mins. If I pull the cable, it will resume working for another few minutes. I reached out to the seller but no response, and I missed the return window. Now I have to buy a new vacuum. it's a waste of money.

Replaced cord on dolphin advantage. Was not difficult to replace but you need to be knowledgeable about taking the cleaner apart and putting back together. Check for video first before beginning.

So i looked up a video on YouTube on how to replace the cord and it took me less than 10mins to replace my old cord with this new cord. The only thing is my original dolphin advantage cable was 50ft and the new cable is 40ft, no big deal i just don't have the extra cable like it use to. But other than being shorter than the original is works perfectly, now i have to order a new float for the cable. But yes i do highly recommend this cable replacement.

My Dolphin was looking like it was on its last legs. The power cord was starting to crack and rub off on your hands. This was a perfect replacement and has bright new life to my little vacuum. My only suggestion is research on how to replace it.

I have an old dolphin pool cleaner. The cord was getting frayed and I was afraid to put it in the water. I am so happy you can replace the cord! I couldn't get a whole new machine right now. It works great! It still gets twisted up, but it untangled easily. It's so much easier that vacuuming the pool by hand.
