We needed to drill a 1.75" hole through a 6" very hard concrete wall. This drill bit did the job, and it was easier than I expected. I had to buy a powerful drill to drive the bit, but it only took about 15 minutes. The hole was clean, and the edge were sharp. I highly recommend the bit and the brand.

Purchased because I needed a bit that would drill rebar. It drilled the concrete with no problem. Once it struck rebar it stopped advancing. After a couple of hours trying to drill through the rebar we had to come up with another plan. Don’t waste your money.

I'm just a home DIY'er, so I can't speak to whether this bit will last the test of time, but I can tell you this was my first time using a large hammer drill and when this massive bit showed up, it was pretty intimidating. The project involved drilling vertically down into the bottom plate and seven inch thick foundation in my garage in order to install 1 1/4" PVC. While it's slow going, it simply works and pulverizes concrete like butter.
