This works great for softer ground and t posts. I would not use it in rocky or clay ground as it won’t get you anywhere and a t post pounder is more effective. We tried it in both types of ground and definitely helpful for softer non clay or rock filled ground

Driver for rod/posts. Nice wide cup. Probably won’t use this that much but when I you need it it’s real handy.

This SDS-Plus rod driver bit seems well-built, though I only did a small test after getting it. I got it to drive a grounding rod and it worked. The bit fits property with no hang ups taking it out or putting it in.It could be improved with a bit deeper recess to accept the standard size rod or rebar. The divot it has is too shallow to start the rod, as it bounced around before going into the ground. I had to start the first inch with a hammer and then switch to the driver. It is not a quick process, so don’t expect to drive a long rod in just a few seconds.
