So I had a few hiccups with this but turned out good in the end. First of all, it was a good price and it’s smaller than most transformers. It only has one port to connect to though I hooked two wires to the port port no problem. At first, I received an error code when I first connected a single light. It was weird because I’ve installed hundreds of landscape lights before and never had a problem. The part I didn’t like was the instructions had zero information about troubleshooting and error message, which I strange because it gets its own labeled indicator light. So as it turned out, the wires were connected backwards…which is also weird because that usually doesn’t matter with most landscape lights. But whatever, I switched the wires and it worked the buttons or should I say button. Is unusual too. In my picture you see what looks like a panel with options and buttons but the Menu is the only button. All the others are made with the same material as the menu button but they aren’t buttons but lights. Again just weird and not intuitive. So in the end it worked well but it’s a bit oddly designed

This transformer is very well built, particularly when you consider the price.The controls are easy to use; simply press the centre button to cycle through to the desired setting. It also remembers the setting so if you have a power failure / unplug / turn off a master switch - it will still maintain the prior setting next time it is powered up.Water-proofing is excellent. I do t recommend it, but I sprayed it with my garden hose and it still functions perfectly. I still suggest placing it out of direct weather to ensure the longest service life possible.Overall Verdict?Have been using it for nearly a month and it performs flawlessly. I recommend this product.

This is simply a fantastic transformer. Easy to set up, connect to and program. Heavy duty and extremely well made. Runs effortlessly once set up. Perfect for my purposes. It replaces an older one ( which was also effortless to do). I highly recommend this transformer.

We had a few straggler lights that were more convenient to add to their own transformer than to try to string them in with the others across the yard. This one has the timer options with hours or dusk to dawn, so we can set it to match the others. The three lights that are on it were well below the 60W, so we could add a few more low voltage lights later if desired. Right now, it's been a great solution to getting an isolated area to have some night lighting. This would also be a great solution to link a few spotlights together to light a balcony or deck, or for string lights for parties or the holidays. It's built to be outside, though the cord is short. For us, it's exactly what we needed!

Got the 60W transformer to power up 8 x 7 watt LED landscape spots that I have and it is perfect. Super easy to use, love the dusk to dawn function. You can also choose to set the lights for 2, 4 and 6 hours, but I just leave them on the dusk to dawn setting. So far so good and so much better to have a hard wired system over my previous solar landscape lights that would turn on/off at different times due to sun exposure and battery life. Now the look is much more cohesive and the lighting is dependable. Low watt consumption so not expensive on the wallet.

Use LED bulbs, they work the best. Incandescent bulbs don't work well.
