Worked for 3 weeks. Clock/timer will not work. Power does feed into lights wires. DO NOT BUY!

For so long we had this super noisy transformer for the malibu lights in the garage. Could not stand it any longer. We got this one and we're so happy that it is totally SILENT. No noise. Easy to set up and works perfectly. Such a low price to save my sanity.

Our old deck light power pack failed, and we needed a replacement. The Malibu 45 Watt Power Pack with Sensor we ordered from Amazon was delivered the next day, is of excellent quality, and was very easy to install. We now have deck post lights that come on at dusk and shut off at the selected time. If you are looking for a power supply with a wide selection of timing options, we would recommend this power pack.

I love this transformer. I had purchased earlier the 120 Watt transformer for my back yard and I have about 12 or so lights on the system. This transformer I purchased for the front yard and only have 4 pathway lights and 4 spot lights on it so I didn't need a more powerful model. I love the simplicity of this transformer as it can be set for dusk to dawn, timed or just set for start and finish time. The backyard is set for time on and time off, the front is set for Dusk to dawn. This unit is heavy duty and works right out of the box. Easy instructions.

The product works as intended and works well. My biggest complaint is there is no battery backup for the included digital clock and timer. This means if you want to use any of the included modes to turn lights on at a certain time, or off at a certain time you have to reset the clock every time there is a power outage which is a pain. I use the on at dusk, off at a certain time setting. If you use on at dusk, off x hours later this oversight won't affect you. Battery backup is such a simple thing to include, every sprinkler timer I've ever purchased had this at far less price than this so hopefully Malibu includes it in the future.

Easy to connect and operate. Nice to have several types of settings: dusk+4, 6, 8 hr, dusk-dawn, dusk on & timed off, timed on & off, sensor test, manual on. It is mounted where it gets lawn sprinklers several times a week and is running after several weeks with no problems. Only complaint is that the A/C cord was unusually short (4 feet?).

I bought this to replace a failing 250 watt unit. I swapped the old halogen bulbs(25watt ea) out to led(3 watt) about 1 years prior, but the power unit fizzled out after about 9 months later; it was here when I bought the house, so unsure on age. Finding this unit was great because my power draw requirement dropped considerably, so I didn't need the more expensive 250 watt ballast. It arrived quickly, was packed well and swapped right out with the dead unit. Lights have worked perfectly for the last 4 months. It has the built in timer control, dawn till dusk option, and manual on/off. I will update if problems arise.
