This case is a nightmare, customer service was not what I expected being made in the USA. Save your money and from getting a headache and purchase a more expensive Condition 1 case that actually does what is advertised. Or just buy a Pelican Products case as these cases are an investment to protect your values for life. This case is not water resistant, is not moisture resistant, is not durable heavy duty plastic.

From the pictures I was expecting a case similar to some of Plano’s options, especially with the whole Made in the USA marketing. That’s not to say it’s a bad case - it’s not - it’s perfectly adequate for storage and transport and the interior is spacious and well-padded with egg crate style foam. The polycarbonate exterior is thick enough to survive a small drop without cracking but there’s definitely some give and flex when pressure is applied at the center. I’ve had a few cases from Flambeau in the past and I’d say they’re about equal in quality but not on the same level as Plano or Nanuk which I have experience with. The same can be said of the latching mechanisms, they function well enough and latch fairly securely but aren’t as robust as some other brands mentioned, granted those are also pricier cases. The latches are also lockable via a hole pass-through for a cable lock which you’ll need to purchase separately. There’s no pull-apart foam padding, so whatever is stored inside gets sandwiched between the two foam pads. The padding fits into the case well but aren’t in any way attached to the case and no adhesive or other method of securing them was included. Another omission compared to Flambeau’s offerings in the same price range is any kind of cutouts in the foam for Velcro webbing straps to securely tie down whatever is inside.I was expecting the plastics & buckles to be a bit higher in quality, but I’m satisfied with the case for what it is and it’s more than suitable for storing airsoft kit or other plinkers. For more expensive equipment I’d probably step up a price tier with Condition One or look into a Plano or Pelican solution for the added peace of mind.

I bought this case to transport and store some of my pew pews and was a little overwhelmed. The case is sturdy and well made and the foam insert is easy to move around. However, i think the case is overvalued. Do more research of cases along the same value and you will see what im talking about.Long story short its not a bad case but its not a great deal either.

Economy case. That says it all. This is truly an economic case. While I applaud the fact that this is made here in the US, I must say there are a couple of issues that stand out. One, the plastic material is flimsy as in not comforting enough to trust my $1000. plus firearm. Forget dropping it or some low-life pulling it apart at the Airport baggage loaders. This case is to "Economy" for me except maybe a trip to the range. This is a nice-looking case but lacks sturdiness. I hate to mention it but Harbor Freight sells a better more secure and sturdier protected long gun case than this. Their rifle case handily fits my 28-inch rifles. Which brings me to the second point. 2.) This nice-looking Texas-made case is only suitable for CARBINE-LENGTH rifles and only then with a light weapon would this case be useful. For me, even if a 12-pound rifle would fit, there would be too much flimsiness to deal with. To be clear, for ME, this did not work. I do not have a carbine to use in this case. IF I DID, this case would be good enough to haul your light carbine to the range or wherever. I deducted one star because of the flimsy case. I do compliment them on the upgraded convoluted foam. That is a nice touch.Likes- good looking case for Carbines or short-length firearms. Great foam protection. Lock ready. Good handle.Dislikes- Flexes from insufficient material thickness. Not designed for travel, especially for the airlines that hire Big Foot that like tossing baggage 10 feet or more.Recommendations- For your shorter-length firearms and possibly multiple uppers, heading to the range or around locally, this ECONOMY case will do. Not suitable for travel. In that light, I could recommend getting this case. Knowing all this, I would say gauge your usage and consider this economy case for its usage and its limitations. I would be satisfied with my carbine in this case.

As plastic cases go... this is the best I've tried. I'm primarily a range shooter so I don't require high-end expensive travel cases. Although.... you could probably feel pretty confident flying with this case because it has six available lock points and is rock solid once it's latched shut. I wouldn't even consider recommending long travel with any of those.I have four other plastic rifle cases (inexpensive) made by popular name-brand manufacturers and this case far better. Why? Because the foam is about twice as thick and the rectangular shape allows me to fit all kinds of range stuff in there with my rifle. I measured my rifle prior to getting this and the length fit well with a couple of inches to spare. In addition... I can fit my massive attached 56mm scope, mounted bipod, spotting scope, 4 AICS magazines, cleaning kit, scoring magnifier, and some room to spare. Functionally, this is superb as a range case.Other than that...I'm a little suspect of the closure latches. They seem flimsy but haven't let me down yet. I'll withhold any negative comments on those unless I experience a failure. It's a USA company (huge plus) so I'm confident that they'll provide reasonable customer service if I ever happen to break one. Extremely happy with this case so far. Very very nice.
