I just used it for a muzzle loader with scope. Just fit. I like that it's not overly sized and cumbersome. Case seems strong enough for normal use. Satisfied!

NY passed a law that long guns in a vehicle must be in a hard, lockable case. My old cloth/leather ones are not sufficient. I got this case to meet the new requirements, and it's great.

I purchased this gun case for my hunting rifle. My rifle is a Tikka T3SL with a 40mm scope. The case is raised in certain points where it makes it difficult for the rifle to fit properly and needed to be in a sweet spot for the case to close. The overall feel of the case is flimsy, the hinges don't have a tight locking mechanism. The hinges that lock are arched plastic only and will wear out over time. This case will probably be good for smaller rifles but not for hunting rifles.

Strong case. Having 1100 magnum shotgun with 30” barrel latex straight leaves 1” space for centering gun so it looks straight and center a bit from each end of the case. Diagonal would give extra space on ends. The case is strong and extra items easily fit. I put walker electronic muffs without walkie talkie in and they seem ok for me the mic would have to be positioned to keep width the same. I like the absolute needed items easily available. I seem to measure 51 3/4” actual inside usable length space. Between round manufacturing inside the ends there is 3/16” extra on each end. I like my 1100 with 30” barrel and this case is GREAT for me.

For an economy/utility case, this is built like Fort Knox. Excellent value at this pricepoint. I intend to purchase a couple more.

This is an affordable case for storing and carrying my Tikka T3 Varmint rifle (24 inch heavy barrel) with a Vortex Viper 6-24x50mm scope mounted on it. Considering the price, it is very good.The case is perfect for my needs, but I would not trust it with airline baggage handlers though.I only gave 4 stars because the rifle does not fit in the case with the 6x9 bipod attached to it, which is a minor annoyance. On the other hand, my hunting rifle, sporting a slightly smaller scope fits nicely with room to spare.
