Excellent sun shade for out deck. We already have one that we have been using for 4 years and decided to buy one for a different area and because our 1st one has worked so well we bought another one just like it. These hold up well in strong winds and rain. We were not disappointed.

Excellent product have had it up for two years now in the Florida sun shows no sign of degrading little bit of a hassle to hang without their proper cabling. Do not use 1/8 Cable as it will break under load use 3/16 stainless without the rubber cover

We bought this shade to cover our new patio in southern AZ. After reading other reviews that said that it could be left up all year and would do ok in high winds, we took our chances and didn’t take it down when storms were predicted. We had a severe thunderstorm and unfortunately, the turnbuckles failed and the shade tore in multiple places. I’m still giving it 5 stars since under normal to windy conditions, it’s great! The color is accurate, easy to install, shape and size were accurate, and it blocked out a lot of our AZ sun/heat. We’ll be more careful with the next one that we purchase!

It came on time. When opened I was a little worried because it seems to be like cheap plastic but it looks great up. I’ll have to see how it lasts.

I think its very important to remenber install it as taut as you can, but this is a very good sunshade. My contractor friend who helped me was originally planning on running wire through the shade and then when he saw this he was like "oh, no. We don't need to. this is well built".Good enough for me! It's up and has made a huuuuuuge difference in the comfort of the area.I installed it over my koi pond and it helped bring down water temperature, inhibited algae growth, and made the area a happier place to sit. My butt doesn't get burnt on the concrete ledge anymore! It's also keeping the previously happy pigeons out of it. The plants under it are actually growing Better now that they aren't constantly sun-scorched.It rained recently and there was no pooling.My friend says he expects at least 3 to 5 years out if it, leaving it up 24/7 for 365 days. I'll update in winter when those real bad winds come through!
