CNOC products are amazing. I have several different size squeeze bags. If using a water filter for purification, typical squeeze bags burst or leak after a while, leaving you in a bad situation on the trail. CNOC is made for high-pressure. Very durable, easy to use, lightweight, and seems safer with less chemical exposure than many other squeeze bag products.

Good product but I brought this item to use with the sawyer mini as recommended to me but the screw on is far to big but a good item.

3 liters is a little bit big for a single backpacker, and do I think I will order the two liter purple one for my UL pack, but it's just as described and will work just as well. It's more geared for two or more people though. Just be sure to mind the opening size depending on whether you want to pair it with the external Sawyer Squeeze (28mm) or internal cap sized Pur BeFree (42mm) filters though.

note - this is the 42mm threaded opening- it fits the katadyn NOT a sawyer. (I'm not totally sold on that filter choice, but I'll DEFINITELY get one of these bags in the smaller opening if I go back to sawyer)These bags are excellent!Thick enough that I'm not worried about punctures dropping it on a bank, while still being an acceptable weight. The slide lock on the back is tight - no leaks on multiple filled carries, and the screw cap (with tether!) works perfectly (also no leaks around the edge of the katadyn)Being able to open the large back opening and scoop, especially in shallow streams, is such a huge improvement. I watch hiking partners mess with sawyer bags and can't believe I used to live like that.Especially elk hunting, not having my hand submerged for like 5 minutes under ice was a huge quality of life improvement.I've put a fair amount of pressure on this bag squeezing water through (again not sold of the katadyn, but I think it was a fault of glacial particles, would have been nice to be able to back-flush though) it popping was never a concern! but really a bag of this volume is mostly for long dry hauls or hang filtering at camp. The 1L squish bottle katadyn sells is plenty for filling bottles on trail.great product, I can't overstate how much of an improvement it is!

So I bought the 1-L, 2L after doing my you tube home and on line reviews, I jumped the gun and bought these, guess what. I did pay attention and got the 42 mm thread ones. They don’t work on my Sawyer stuff. No biggie I played with them , they are what the you videos says they are! They are quality built as well. I had to order the 28 mm thread ones from another on line store because these guys are out. So I can’t really give them bad reviews for my dumb jumping the gun in excitement actions. But be warned these work on the Katadan water filtration system

About as good a solution as you can get for use with a Sawyer Squeeze or other standard-threaded filter.The big opening makes it much easier to collect and pre-filter water than waiting for it to pour into a small bottle top.

The CNOC 2L Vecto has become a standard for harvesting water from sources in the field to gravity filter using Sawyer Squeeze or Katadyn BeFree filters instead of their own soft bottles. This version has a 42mm cap, allowing direct use with the Katadyn BeFree filter. (The BeFree filter is best used adapted to a female valve connector by unscrewing its pop-up sport cap and screwing on a Sawyer standard cap with male barb connected to a female valve connector).The Vecto's "zip" open at the "bottom" for quicker, easier filling (it would be useful to have a "hold-open" method). The "Zip Top Slide" is an effective seal, and perhaps can be inserted into the soft bottle bottom opening to insure it is open enough to begin to fill. The "zip top slide" is tethered using a silicone loop piece, and the cap tightens well and is also tethered by a loop collar - good ideas.CNOC's soft bottles are truly soft, collapse well, appear and so far have been durable for their purpose.

TLDR: Seeker over CNOC in a photo finishI have owned the CNOC for the Sawyer Squeeze for a couple years. It has performed well and this newer design on all models steps it up significantly.I often use the BeFree filter along with a Hydopak Seeker bladder. I bought this specifically to compare the two. To be honest I own all the sizes of the Seeker line, plus the original .6 L bag from the BeFree for different water carry needs.Material: Both are great robust rubbery material that hold up WITH CAREFUL USE.Threads: I'm not sure why, but the Seeker is just easier to thread on the BeFree. I seem to cross thread the CNOC more often, but if I just take an extra second it's fine.Ease of Use: With good water sources, Hydropak Seeker is a little easier with a traditional opening over remembering which direction to slide the opening of the CNOC.Weight: CNOC is about a 1/2 ounce heavier. The catch is that the Seeker comes with a stupid-heavy cap that I don't use since the filter takes that place.Ease of filling: Obviously the CNOC wins, but even when I add my water scoop, the Seeker is lighter.Pre-filter ability: The Seeker allows me to easily rubber band a pre-filter over the 42mm opening to keep debris out of the bag.Cold weather consideration: Since I don't carry the Seeker cap, if temps dive and I need to keep the filter with me at night to prevent freezing, it's more difficult to store water in the bag using a makeshift lid vs the CNOC with a super light screw on cap.Other thoughts: I like the semi-transparency of the CNOC over the Seeker and the attached lid and attached slider.Personally, I've decided to keep using both for a few more trips, but lean towards stealing the orange lid off the CNOC and using it with the Seeker to save that all important 1/2 ounce. Also, my water scoop serves as a container for my bag/filter which protects the rubber bag a little, and I like the ability to pre-filter murky water sources.I'm not disappointed at all with the CNOC, but I will say that if Hydropak replaced their concrete caps on the Seeker line with the ultralight CNOC lid, I would spend my duckats on Seeker (plus a scoop) all the way.

Never thought to look for the size of the opening. This one has a 43 mm thread and the Sawyer Squeeze uses a 28mm. Lesson learned the hard way.
