Already replaced them due to accuracy and flaws in product. Thumb screw gone and slide stop missing after 2 months of use.

Sometimes 6" just doesn't cut it. I do jewelry boxes that are usually smaller than the 12" It is very convenient for me to use. It was not a price buster at all. I am not sure if you are a machinist it would be the go-to tool. For what I do it works excellent! It has made my life much easier.

Had these for a week now, and several of the other guys in the shop with far more expensive calipers have said had nice they are. I have a set of 6" Fowler's that aren't as sturdy feeling, and as repeatable

Nice calipers. Very tight and stiff. Hard to get a good feel. They will break in, but taking longer than other high end brands
