I had purchased this microphone because I needed a vintage look. I also was concerned about quality. I am that guy behind the mixing board. My vocalist and I were immediately pleased on how using this mic made her sound. The pick up on it is excellent and we were able to have a specific look needed for her performances. WIN WIN. Love it.

My husband sings and I purchased this for his birthday and he was blown away by the quality. His vocals are clearer with this mic than they ever were with his shure mic. We love the vintage look. All around just an amazing piece of music equipment.

Mejor que mi shure sm57 y sm58. El único contra que tiene es que es un micrófono pesado, pero eso es por la alta calidad del material, está hecho como un tanque.

I'm using this mic for recording vocals into Reaper. The mic has a nice overall smoothness to it, sounding more retro/vintage. In comparison to the Shure PGA48, the Carol is not as "hot", I would say, and you don't get that crispy high-end, but a much more smoother frequency response throughout. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and build, and will definitely be using it a lot more in my recordings.

I wanted a microphone to sing jazz that would have that vintage look, and this one is really perfect! It’s a well made, heavy microphone. I feel for the price, it gives me a clear, beautiful tone…better than my Sure mic. It will depend on how you adjust it, but I’m super happy.

Looking for a vintage looking microphone as a gift. Decided to give Carol a try, The delivery was fast. Open the box and noticed that there are 2 cracks inside the mounting hole all the way through. and scratch on the logo. The quality doesn't feel to last long. Didn't try the sound yet. No option for replacement from Amazon. No option for replacement from Amazon. only option available is to return for refund. So disappointed!!

Seems well built and works fine. But my voice sounds kinda funny in it compared to other mics.

I bought this mic for my youtube videos and wow what a surprise. It not only looks classic and vintage the quality is unbelievable.I connect it to either my Roland field recorder or one of my Zoom recorders. It will be on display at my new flat as it looks like a piece of art deco art to me!

今までにSUPER 55 (青スケルトン)を使っていました。声を拾う部分が結構シビアなので、今一しっくり来ない感じでした。今回、デュアルタイプで声を拾うタイプなので、駄目元で買って、使ったら全然違いました。パウリも無いし、何しろ多少ずらしても、声を拾ってくれます。4人バンド、ライブハウスで使用してます。SUPERのスケルトンを買うなら、このマイクの方が良いと思います。

For the Money. This mic sounds great. I'm not saying it's the best thing. But For style, Sound, cost... It's a solid purchase. I use it handheld... It's a tank of a mic. I think i could throw it on a concrete Floor and it would be fine. Sounds (IMHO) better than an SM58. It's Louder in the gain levels. Cleaner, and Crisper... Meaning less preamp noise needed. etc. I mean it really has it all.
