Sounds way better than what the price suggests. Intended for live use with a TC Helicon pedal but a very good dynamic microphone on its own. Very tight polar pattern that rejects background noise and room tone well. Highly recommended.

I’m really happy with this mic, Good communication between it and my TC helicon when needed. Lovely tone with a great sound. Seems pretty robust too.

Excelente el micrófono, puedo prender y apagar el botón HIT sin necesidad de estarlo aplastando. De repente tiene demasiada sensibilidad el botón del micrófono, pero es mínimo. Incluye una funda acolchada de excelente calidad

Tc helicon is by far my favorite choice when it comes to a professional sound and quality equipment. I would reccend any of there product as you get what you pay for and then some.

I am a bit of an audio junkie and I own 3 Helicon Voicelive Play's and some stomp boxes. We have been using a Voicelive Play for backing vocals, connected to a Shure SM58 and have been fairly happy with the results, but something seemed to be missing. Enter the TC-Heilcon MP-85! I decided to go out on a limb to give this a try and I am so glad that I did! This mic is specifically engineered for Helicon vocal effects and it doesn't disappoint. I found the dynamic range to be better than the Shure SM58, especially the highs. The slight fakeness of some of the Helicon vocal effects seems to be eliminated...and I am so impressed that I bought 2 more! My only minor gripe is that this is a thinner form factor, so you have to use the custom mic clip that ships with the mic. I haven't tried yet, but I am confident that a condenser mic clip will likely work.

I've used different TC Helicon products while DJing (vocal processors, effects processors, etc...) that I've been impressed with but this microphone falls a little short. The vocal effects are nice but overall the sound is a bit chippy or punchy with the high end being exaggerated and the low end almost nonexistent. The feedback buffering is superior to alot of my other microphones but it's a moot point if you don't enjoy the overall sound. It was a nice try but a good example of go back to the drawing board and see if you can get a better sound before you start adding bells and whistles.

Ein Tolles Mikrofon für einen sehr fairen Kurs.Das MP-85 brauch sich hinter einem SM58 oder SM58 Beta nicht zu verstecken. Insbesondere die Rückkoppelungs unempfindlichkeit beeindruckt.Die Trittschall unempfindlichkeit ist in dieser Klasse, überragend.

This microphone is almost identical to the MP75 that TC Helicon had out a few years back but during covid it was next to impossible to get any microphones from Tc as they had just released the mp85 and they discontinued to the MP75 and 76.. I will say the packaging and case for the mic definitely lack compared to the previous Microphones.. but it does the job Well .. I plan on putting it thru us pace over the next year . My first mp75 lasted 6 years .. so time will tell.. order them while you can

Doesn't seem to work with just sny XLR. Finally, it likes one of mine. It is fabulous. If you know chords you can use menus the guitar and it is great. Actually my second one. First one lasted 4 years and I wore the push button out. Love the product
