Your cart is empty.The CajonTab Jumbo 12" drum is our larger CajonTab model. Designed to produce more low end than the 10", the 12" model is still extremely portable at less than 5 pounds. The secret is the thin tapa material, which allows the player to create a wide range of tones from this amazing little box drum. Put the snare attachment on for a crisp, responsive snare tone. Remove it for an open, resonant bongo-like sound. You can even open or close the sound hole cover to change the pitch of the drum.

This is my favorite drum. It is versatile, portable, fun to play, and most of all, it sounds very nice. The adjustable sound outlet allows for a variety of volume and pitches. I can play it in my apartment, in a drum circle, in the Park, or during a jam session. I can play it like a conga, a djembe, or a snare. The removable snare is easy and sturdy, and sounds great. The construction is excellent. A work of art. Made in USA by a craftsman, not a factory. I really like this drum.

This is a beautiful and very fun drum to play! I love not lugging around my full cajon on hiking trips and outings anymore! A bit pricey in my opinion but I’m very happy with my purchase!
