I installed it in an Eatrock octagonal portable cajon, a gift for my son. He has shopped portable cajons and was amazed when he saw the 1/4" jack for amp connection. He didn't believe I had retrofitted the pickup. I didn't have a chance to test it before giving it to him so I was unsure how well it would work. It's great! Excellent pickup and great to be able to control volume and EQ. He's been able to use it in our band on some songs instead of the large box cajon with mic.
