Excellent bar tape. Squishy, adhesive-backing, plenty of length for 44cm road bars. This tape seems to be equivalent to other tapes that cost 2-3x. My end caps were black, not red as shown in the photo

The paper tape over the adhesive strip was loose, exposing the adhesive causing it to dry out a didn't stick very well. But it provided good cushion for a hand grip.

I have an Iron Gym doorway pull up bar that has been with me for many years at this point. The padding has been tearing and I've tried taping it and throwing socks over it to keep the friction off of the pads themselves.Somehow I got the idea to use handlebar tape instead. Now it wasn't a perfect solution, but its a lot better than it was. There isn't as much padding, but it still feels nice even without gloves.I primarily have it on the middle of the bar, and continued to the right, all the way to the end. The middle feels very secure, bit the right side is coming off a bit. Thats ok because I mostly use the middle. If I had used a better technique in applying it, it probably would have done a better job at holding since the middle holds so well. The adhesive is very decent.5 stars since I'm not using it it for its intended use and it saved me from having to buy a new pull up bar.

So it starts like this I had an old road bike that I took the handles off of. The frame was no good and I thought to myself I could use this to make a bike stand, but I had already taken the bar tape that was on it off because it was falling apart. Then I put the new bar tape on the handlebars after I cut them down a little bit and it worked absolutely perfectly. The handlebar tape is nice and cushy to keep the frame safe from getting scratched absolutely what I was looking for at a very good price. I would highly suggest.

I have wrapped a lot of drop bars. I generally prefer to spend a bit more on bar tape since its the part of the bike I contact. But in this case, I needed some inexpensive tape to wrap bars on a bike I was selling. This bar tape was really nice to work with. It is 2.5mm thick and I received 80" of tape (X2) which was enough to wrap my 42cm drop bars. It includes two strips of a vinyl finishing tape and some plastic, tap-in bar plugs. The tape has the BV logo on one edge, assymetrically. I wrapped the bars so the BV logo was visible when standing aside the bike for consistency.I wrap bars 'backwards', starting from the center and working outward. This lets me wrap without using finishing tape so I didn't use the tape provided with the wrap.I was able to pull it tight enough and the adhesive that comes on it is strong enough to hold it in place while wrapping, but not so strong that it tears the tape if you need to remove it and redo it.All in all, I'm impressed with this tape for the price. If you need some inexpensive bar tape, this is the way to go.

I really like this handlebar tape. For the price you cant go wrong.Pros- Very comfortable- Strong/durable- Visually appealing- Very sticky 3M (wont have to worry about it moving)Cons- Finishing tape was a tad short for my liking, it comes with enough but i would like to see 1-2 more inches

This tape isn't Cinelli, Deda, or Fi'zi:k, but it's not supposed to be. This is most certainly a budget tape that's meant to get the job done in the most boring way possible. Would I use this on my main racing bikes? Absolutely not. However, it's perfectly fine tape for my rain and gravel bikes.Several people have complained that the tape breaks either while wrapping or after a short period of use. I've also seen people complain that the 3M backing to the underside of the tape is hard to get off. Finally, I've also seen people complain that you don't get two separate small strips of tape to place behind your levers. So:1. If you break this tape, it's because you're wrapping it absurdly tight. This tape is very stretchy and flexible, there's no way you should break it.2. The 3M backing is a little bit of a pita to get off but only so in terms of it tends to break off from itself and you need to get it started again. It's not hard to remove and the sticky backing underneath the backing absolutely does NOT want to come off with the backing as I saw one person say.3. Yes, it is nice to have two strips of tape for behind levers when wrapping, but it's not necessary. Simply run a figure eight around the levers and you're good to go. Also, the listing didn't mention the strips so I have no idea why anyone would expect them. I assure you, if a kit comes with those strips, it's mentioned.Look, this tape isn't fancy, it's budget priced, plain tape. For this price point, it's perfect fine and a good buy. If you happen to find Cinelli tape for the same price when you look, buy the Cinelli. However, Cinelli isn't on sale at the moment and this is probably the cheapest decent take you can get.The one issue I had with the tape is that it's listed at .10 thick and it is, but only in the middle and it tapers very thin on the sides. That was definitely slightly misleading. However, it's a wide tape and you get 82 inches per strip, so just wrap it thick likeI did and you'll have decent padding. Finally, this is very forgiving, flexible tape. I wrapped both sides of my bars, start to finish, in less than 8 minutes. In closing, if you come upon this tape and read my review, type Cinelli in your search and see if it's on sale for the same or less than this tape. If it is, buy that. If it's not, buy this and don't go any cheaper because there's a whole lot of horrible cheaper tapes on this site.
