I wanted a more comfortable & discreet option for my Spectra pump. I was hesitant but they work well with the pump & I have not noticed a difference in my milk supply. It does have several parts to clean but I don’t think it’s too many and to me it is definitely worth the added comfort!

If you’re on the fence about these, just go ahead and buy them! I was skeptical but decided to give them a try. I have the spectra 1 pump and these work effortlessly with the pump. Assembly is very easy. These are much more comfortable then the normal flanges and makes me more portable allowing me to do more while pumping. Cleaning them is also easy. Make sure you’re careful when taking them off as to not spill the milk.

I love these for my wall pump. I hated the original bottles that came with the wall pump hanging from my bra. They got in the way if I needed to hold my baby during pump sessions and when I found these fit my spectra S2 I was so happy. I wish there was not so many parts to clean but it is so worth it!

I bought these cups in place of the name brand Spectra version hoping to save a little money, and also attracted to the softer silicone flange part that goes against your breast. I was impressed with the look and feel but immediately had concerns with the suction upon my first use. I heard a popping/clicking sound that I usually associate with my diaphragm being loose or not sealed all the way around, or having moisture in it. I double checked the cups and all their parts and found no visible defect and chalked it up to just normal. After using the cups several time I was disappointed each time with the noise and poor suction as well as my breasts clearly not being emptied even half as well as with my spectra bottle/flanges nor my wearables. These cups are an absolutely poor excuse and could be the detriment to someone’s supply who exclusively pumps.

I was so excited to find an affordable, hands free, wearable pump so that I could pump while I drive and be able to hold my little one as I pump. The first time I tried it to was really impressed by the suction and ease of us. About three days later I went to pump and was hearing the pump machine but only feeling suction on the left, despite everything being connected properly. I tried disconnecting and reattaching the tube and it just ended up getting some milk in it and still not working. So disappointed, but definitely returning.

There is a pretty steep learning curve when it comes to getting third party pumping parts. With that said, when it is done right, this particular set is worth every penny and even made the crappy Medela Pump-in-Style pump that was free with insurance actually usable. The flange is very comfortable compared to any plastic flange, and the price is great relative to other third party parts sets (around $30).The suction is insanely good but only if you take several precautions:- Get yourself a nipple ruler to find the correct flange insert. The default size is 22mm, but the average nipple is 17mm. I found out the hard away aka painful nips for the first month of pumping. It's not supposed to hurt (but unfortunately you might still have some soreness).- Make sure that all of the parts of fully dry. If there is even a little moisture when you attach the parts together, you will not get a perfect seal.- Make sure that all of the pieces are assembled properly. Even if something is a bit crooked, you won't get a perfect seal. Recheck. Every. Single. Piece.- Make sure that the duckbill valves are not ripped or broken. Even the tiniest rip will prevent a perfect seal. Check this before every use, keep spares, and replace often. Almost all replacement duckbill valves are compatible.- While the top lid doesn't touch your pumped milk (where you connect the tubes), make sure to wash it (don't need to sanitize except maybe the first time) because any moisture or incidental milk that spills during the transfer process or if you move the wrong way will prevent a perfect seal. Before reattaching, make sure it is fully dry.- If the suction isn't perfect right away, stop and troubleshoot every single piece and check for moisture especially in the tubes, lids, diaphragms, and flanges.- If you're sure you did everything perfectly, it could be that your pump needs troubleshooting (battery/power issue, tube connection issue, etc.).Another reason I love these cups is that I was able to easily immediately adapt or frankenstein these cups and accompanying parts with all 3 of my pumps to make them all work:For the Pumpables Genie Advanced (best pump in my opinion): I could connect the tubes directly to the pump without adapting anything. For the Medela Pump-in-Style, I chucked the entire flange/connector set and only needed to keep the existing Y tube (which you can easily buy on Amazon). I cut the Medela V off of the Y right below the connector, and used the TOVVILD Y-tube connector piece to connect the remaining single tube to the TOVVILD tubes. For the Elvie Stride (not worth the $$$): I cut the single tube part of the Elvie Stride closer to the end that attaches to the pump instead of the connector, and I could use the tubes I already adapted for the Medela for this pump. How to not cry over spilled milk:Believe me when I tell you that I did this many times. Just take some precautions and be prepared BEFORE detaching the cups.- Make sure your work area is clean and prepped and your final collection vessel is ready BEFORE you pull out the cups.- Detach the lids with the tubes or only the tubes while they are still attached to you.- Once you detach the cups from your boobs, immediately tilt the cups with the flange facing up. Put the cups down on a stable and flat surface.- When you're ready to pour the milk out, instead of risking spillage by detaching the flange, just bend the flange away and tilt the cup down in the same direction as it would sit on your boob into your final collection vessel.- Move your collection vessel away so that you have room to clean up and detach your cup parts for cleaning.Hope this helps!

I don’t ordinarily write reviews but I had to for this one. If you are on the fence about buying this, trust me BUY IT! I have exclusively pumped since my baby was born almost 5 months ago. The traditional flanges were such a pain to use and not very discrete when pumping in public, they also hurt my nipples and made them very sensitive and sore. This product has saved me especially going back to work! Here are all the reasons I love it! :1. So discrete to wear in public and so easy when I am driving to and from work and pump. Yes I pump in the car it’s very convenient2. It hooks up to your hospital grade pump very easily, I have the spectra and I get the SAME output of milk as I did with the traditional flanges3. It holds 9 oz of milk in both cups which is amazing! Especially when I have my first pump in the morning and I get between 8-9 oz on each side4. Its easier to hold my baby and feed her if needed while still pumping5. Probably my FAVORITE reason NO PUMPING BRAs! You can use other bras! I use these comfy nursing bras which make clothes look way better and make be feel more myself6. No nipple pain! So much easier on the nipples they aren’t sore or sensitive the way they were with the flangeI feel like there might be more reasons but honestly my favorite purchase I actually bought 2 just to make it easy with with. Only thing is they only come in one size so get nipple inserts that align with your nipple size.

Have been using the spectra pump parts for the last 3 months and found them to be cumbersome and a bit of a pain to wear as it involved changing bras. Have been using these for the last few days and wish I’d gotten them sooner. Game changer. Means I can wear my normal nursing bras without having to change for pumping sessions. Also easier to clean than the spectra parts. Feels like good quality. Getting the same volume of milk as I was with the spectra parts but now I am so much more comfortable.
