All colors except white are ok. All of my "WHITE" LEDSs light up blue. That wouldn't be as problem, but here I am months later (in purchased in February, it's now late June) and I was planning to use the white in a repair. It seems I'm not the only one with this problem!

Normal LEDs, nothing special but they work and are reliable. Short leads, but long enough for most projects. The green and blue LEDs are a lot brighter, and require more voltage than the red and yellow ones. Another reviewer said the white LEDs were blue, and they are right. They are blue, but with a transparent casing instead of a blue one. I believe they are called "water clear" LEDs. They are a bit brighter than the other blue ones as well.Nice storage box for these LEDs. Keeps them separated and are great for DIY projects. I tested a good amount of these and they all work, so I doubt there are any that don't work. It's pretty uncommon for an LED to not work out of the box, I've never seen it personally.

I tested these on a HP6111A power supply, at the voltages indicated on the package.Blue, green, and red LEDs all worked within their specs. The Yellow ones were happy at 2v, but at 2.2v they were past the "knee" in the I/V curve that they started to conduct at upwards of 90-100mA (actually pegged the meter on the 120mA scale on one of them). They were plenty bright at 2v so I'd just do my calculations at that voltage in use.The white ones are actually blue in color as shown in the picture. I tried a few at random just to see if some had slipped in there by mistake, but the 5 or so I tested all were blue.

Pretty bog standard box of 5mm LEDs for electronics projects. 100 or each color. While I haven't tested each LED (nor do I intend to anytime soon), the few that I have used all worked. The BlueStars 500pcs (5 Colors x 100pcs) 5mm Bi-pin LED Light Emitting Diode Round Assorted set offers solid value for the price paid. I recently had the opportunity to try out this product, having received it free of charge as part of the Amazon Vine program. The assortment of colors is practical and provides a decent range for various projects. The LEDs emit a satisfactory level of brightness and have proven to be reliable in my electronic experiments. The quantity in the pack is generous, making it a cost-effective choice for those who require a bulk supply for multiple projects. The build quality is decent, with the bi-pin design making them easy to handle and integrate into circuits. While they may not be the most high-end LEDs on the market, they certainly get the job done for hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts. It's important to note that my experience is based on receiving the product free of charge through the Amazon Vine program. In terms of value for the price, the BlueStars 500pcs 5mm Bi-pin LED set is a reasonable choice for individuals looking for an affordable and functional assortment for their electronic projects.

I use a lot of LEDs in my projects and I've gotten a number of assortments like this one in the past. What sets this set apart is that it is the first set I've gotten that specified the current rating and the expected voltage drop. Little things, to be sure, but helpful nonetheless.I did test a few of them and they worked just fine and had decent brightness.Overall, I recommend this set.Item: BlueStars 200pcs (5 Colors x 40pcs) 5mm Bi-pin LED Light Emitting Diode Round Assorted Color White/Red/Yellow/Green/Blue Kit Box
