Bought to replace burnt out light on my Ancona range hood. Not exactly the same colour temperature of the original but its a bit brighter than the other, original one still in the range hood. With both of them on you can't see much of a difference between them. If you use these, make sure to read up on how to use them. You need dielectric grease and a heat sink.

I've installed 3 of these as light bases for resin castings and have had them running nearly constantly for several weeks (~10hrs a day and one I left on for about 60hrs without interruption in a wood base with poor airflow to test if it'd burnout) without any issues. I started adding a piece of copper underneath as an extra heatsink but haven't had any issues.It should be used with an led driver that matches or exceeds the power rating as any bulb like this should. I would imagine most of those with negative reviews and experiences come from not using a constant output driver which I also get from Amazon.Ive been really impressed. They're much brighter than the single diode led chips I've also used and can illuminate even thicker, heavily pigmented casting without washing out the color. I'm not sure if it would have the throw to be used in a ceiling light application but accent lights, under counter, etc would work great.

hooked each one up to a power supply because the headlamp they were meant for did nothing to them. Not a blip of light. bad. very worthless.

The LED Chip Bulb of my outdoor wall sconce was burned out, and I went to a store earlier to find the replacement, but I was told that I needed to replace the whole wall sconce because there was no backup. So, I tried to search online and this is the only one that I found similar with the original.After installing, all bulbs on the chip were lighting perfectly, however, two bulbs on the chip were burned out in 5 minutes, I have to try on another one, and it works well so far, this is the second night after installing and still lighting.

I bought these to repair some cheapo 12V garden lights where the aluminium discs on which the LEDs were seated had started to oxidise and the LEDs were no longer lighting up.Easy swap if you've got a soldering iron and these are at least as bright as the ones they replaced (when they were working properly, that is).
