I purchased this light for use in building models on my drafting table. After having used two other LED lights, I’m truly impressed by the amount of light this provides. I can use it far above the table top, but still see everything in my work area clearly. The head and the light level can be easily and reliably adjusted. Initially I wasn’t interested in the USB charging, but have appreciated being able to charge my phone while working. Setup including clamping to the surface were straight forward. I highly recommend this light for any detailed work.

A really perfect light.Clamp for worktop -- beware the screws do stick out a bit if that matters to you.Also mounts directly to bench-- 4 screw holes in base! YES, finally someone was thinking!Pivots: At the base, at the elbow, the lamp head and the lamp head pivots.On_off switch and dimming control. From mild, white light to equator at noon white light. 6000-6500k color - super white. True colors. Manufacture states 3,000 lumens...I think that's right. As bright as my shop light, but way, way closer to the work surface. Surface finishes "pop"!USB charger in arm....whatever.High quality gray finish....industrial, heavy duty look and feel. Stays where you set it; position locks easily.

In my haste to assemble and install the lamp, I failed to notice that the provided screws are too long and protrude through the clamp surface. Thus, as soon as I removed the lamp (to reposition it), I noticed 4 screw-shaped dents in my otherwise-flawless workbench. I covered the screws with some felt tape, but what I really need is an extra set of washers so the screws don't protrude at all. It's just an embarrassingly poor design choice for such an expensive product, and something I didn't expect from an American company.I can't really comment on the performance of the lamp itself, because I was so disgusted by the whole ordeal, I can't even bring myself to look at it. I can say this though: those dents are exceptionally visible under my new light. So...there's that.Overall, I regret buying this, but I probably won't return it.

I do love it! This lamp replaces my 1947 fluorescent fixture. The difference between it and the old one defies description--I don't know what kept me from going blind, trying to use the old one—I could never go back!This lamp has the highest lumen rating of any of the LED task lamps I could find. The dimmer control is nice to have, though I usually keep it running at full, solar-flare brightness. The wide head spreads the light over my bench, everywhere I need it. It stays bright and relatively cool for hours on end. Also totally silent, unlike the buzzy fluorescent.All the parts of the lamp are very nicely constructed and finished. Very professional, nothing cheesy about it.If I had to complain about anything, I have not managed to adjust the clamps on the articulated arms so that they adjust position easily, yet hold position without sagging. I don't have to move it that often, so it's not a great tragedy to loosen and re-tighten the screws when I need to do so. Even so, the clamp screws have nice knobs and levers to make this an easy operation. I have several more benches that cold use more light, and if I get more lamps it will be these!The photos are two snaps of my workbench, taken with the exact-same camera settings, lit first by my old lamp and then the Arbe. You'll see what I mean about going blind!
