I installed this in conjunction with the installation of a universal hand guards for better fit & finish. It's been over a year since installation and it holds up pretty well. The bike fell twice while practicing slow speed turns in the parking lot and in both times it held up.Also, it is nice placement for chain oiler reservoir, USB charger, and auxiliary light switch in addition to holding the hand guards.

My Magicycle Cruise has crowded, tapered, non-standard handlebars. Now I have a second, unencumbered 'handlebar' upon which to mount my assorted accessories. I also use it to one-hand steer the bike from the front inside the tight confines of my bike shed. I got it discounted because of the color. BONUS! I am very satisfied. Send me another.

Clamps did not line up when used with the rubber inserts. You had to force the screws in sideways and I knew eventually this was going to be a problem. After a month they need a tightening again and since they were not at the right angle they did not want to tighten and they stripped out, tried to drill out the screws with no success, had to end up using a cut off disc grinder to get to clamps off, major pain in the butt

Beautiful finish and quite sturdy. However the hardware included was impossible to use with my bike. The fact that no instructions were included, didn't help. I ended up having to use electricianer's tape on the handlebars to mount because all included hardware was too thick. Still happy with the final result. I went with all red accessories ( handle bar extensions, bottle holder, seat post bell,, etc...due to my black and red seat. Bike looks great!! Definitely worth the money once you figure out how to mount it.

I liked the idea.. I used it for a rifle mount and it didn't work too well, it slips easily.
