I put these on the handlebars before installing grips—prevents the bars from tearing through the grips when I crash. Not that I ever crash…😉

I tried a few different plugs in the pack of 20 and NONE of them went in. They did not work on my specialized globe, specialized p1, or my cannondale hooligan. All of which have the factory alloy bars. I tried hammering them in, heating them up with a heat gun, and even freezing one. None of the method helped. Will be returning these.
