After I accidentally tipped over my new expensive Dualtron e-scooter on the street which caused road rash at the bar and at the brake lever end, I was so bummed and wanted something to help prevent future damage in case this happens again so I found these Bumpy semi soft silicon rubber bar end caps which fit perfectly and they were easy to install in which I just plugged them in at each bar end and just screwed them tight by hand until they were secured and so far very happy that they look naturally part of the bar and will help save my scooter parts of any future damage in case I bump into something while riding or experience another tip over.

From a functionality standpoint, these end caps are great. They create a solid-but-forgiving bumper on the ends of your bars, which will come in handy perhaps on every ride as you lean the bike up against walls, doors, painted surfaces... whatever. They are easy to install. Just use a dull knife or standard screwdriver to pry out the plug cover, loosen the Phillips screw, install and tighten the screw while holding the end plug (so it doesn't rotate while you tighten it down). The potential problem is the interior parts of the end plug are all plastic, with the exception of the tightening bolt. If you have to remove the end plug you will see what happens to these parts, and it ain't pretty. The entire body of the plug twists as the compression plug inside is tightened inward. Other reviews here have shown that the plug can disintegrate as a result. I own three or four sets of these plugs and I have had to remove and reattach them... Nothing has ever broken but I sure have seen some of them look really twisted up, and fear for their longevity if I have to take them off again. Also I'm sure if these protruding plugs take a whack as a part of ordinary bicycle life, they could break. But in the meantime, they seem to work great. I'd definitely be up for buying a pair for a few more bucks if they had more robust construction.

I already lost one. For the replacement I used 3M spray on adhesive, hoping that will retain it. For me, it was very hard to to tighten them up since my hands are arthritic. When they are in, they seem to do a pretty good job of protecting the world from my handlebars, plus they add some color.

I bought these to protect my jeep and they did, but I also didn’t expect them to stay on long on the trail but they actually did so I would highly recommend this to mountain bikers. My bike is a 2020 Giant TalonFYI the grips are RockBros, also bought off Amazon

The best part of these is the grey plastic anchor part that is supplied and goes in the handlebar. It works awesome and holds tight. Note there are two things you have to tighten. First, the bumper has to tighten into its own metal flange that you may miss is there. Then insert the tightened bumper into the grey expansion piece. It will work fine. Oh, and the little plug for the end is awesome too.

I was just scrolling through amazon. I didn't even know that this product existed. but it is nifty. I figured it was worth a try, and I am happy. I lean my bike on my dresser at home, and now my handlebars aren't scratching the wood. It is also good, because when I take my bike though my driveway I usually have to lift my bike or go slow so I don't scratch house or car paint, but now my mind is at ease, because the soft tips don't leave marks or scratches.

Dimensions would be nice in description but took a chance and fit perfectly. Outer diameter matches the foam grips on my Catrike perfectly.
