Don' t buy! All their marketing material mention it works with wood as well as with gas. But when you order, you find out that the gas burner is not part of the package! It needs to be ordered separately.... Very misleading and unacceptable!

This pizza oven is a game changer! Very minimal assembly and you’re ready to cook pizza. And it cooks in a flash! Pizza in less than two minutes! And that’s NOT an exaggeration. There is a short learning curve though. Make sure that the oven heats up properly before cooking your pie. It might take 10 minutes, it might take 30 minutes. Just make sure that you get the stone up to 900* before you try and cook on it.It also helps if you have the propane burner to turn it down to low before you start cooking. If you only have the wood, just let it go and enjoy the best pizza ever!

I bought this for my husband for his birthday and it was the perfect gift. I would recommend buying the gas attachment though. We love having pizza nights! Watch the YouTube videos to help you perfect your technique!

Construction was too notch. Seemed to work mostly. Took about an hour to warm to 500 with charcoal. Managed to get a single pizza through it before the charcoal started to cool off. Had to finish it in the oven, along with the other three I'd planned. And watched as someone ate the most expensive pizza I've ever cooked. This will make addition to darker recesses of my garage. Rather get my money back.

I’ve had a few pizza parties which turned out great, even in cold weather. I did purchase the propane gas attachment which I feel was a good investment.I think it’s fair to say, there is a bit of a learning curve. It takes a few pizzas to get used to cooking in this oven, as its high heat they can burn fast and using the pizza peel can be tricky. Soon enough I was pumping out great pizza!

We love our Bertello pizza oven!! So easy to use and our pizzas have turned out delicious. So quick to heat up and takes only a couple minutes to cook a pizza. We haven't attempted homemade crusts yet but use Naans. They work perfectly! Fun to make different pizzas and share with eachother!

I like the concept of having a portable pizza oven , we intend to haul around in our motorhome and use when we want pizza . There is a learning curve , especially if you make your own dough. The other is rotate , the box is small and the crust will charcoal on you next to the fire box. I really think this oven should have been another 3 to 5 inches in length , ya really have to stay on top of it or your pizza burns up. I just bought the gas adapter, should make it easier for travel . I’ve been making 12 inch pizza , but after so many burnt ones , I’m gonna start making small personal pizzas and place towards opening of ovens. The Naan flat bread is by far easier to cook pizza on in this oven.

This is a great way to pass an afternoon and have great pizza. Don’t let the “learning curve” deter you. Even a pizza out of round is delicious!A few hints- keep moving the crust on the peel as you assemble the pizza - that little shake keeps the crust loose;- they tell you to turn the pizza to avoid burning the crust which is right, but on the first turn, make sure the bottom is done enough so that the pizza will hold together on the turn;- keep the pizza toward the front of the oven so if it slides back when you’re turning it you have some room to maneuver the pizza;- this oven says pellets, but they don’t actually work well and burn out too fast.Customer service with this product has been fantastic and they really want you to succeed and have fun.
