I was concerned when I bought this, about the small size. My old kit had much larger cylinders and was easier to read than this device. I thought my pH was ok, but when I tested the water at the pool store it was way off. I would suggest spending more on a better kit.

It is very easy to use. It performs well. I crosschecked with other test kits to have similar results.

I'm always sorry I don't take these with me on vacation because I never can be sure of the water I'm drinking. I rely on these testers at home to know when my filter should be replaced. I love knowing the ph of my water, and the amount of chlorine in it. Easy to use. Five drops in a half cup of water and watch the color of the water change. I've been using these for years.

It's that simple, if you are planning to maintain your own pool, it is a must that you check the chemicals in your water at least a couple times a week to maintain your pool water's chemical levels, so you know that the water is properly balanced and safe to enjoy and swim in year-round! It's very simple to us, please don't swim without knowing your water's condition. You will then know what chemicals to buy and add to the water to keep it safe.
