STEP 1:separate door flaps
Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the screws and detach the pet door from the door frame.
STEP 2:Pry off the white knob
Using a pair of pliers or a scraper, safely pry off the white knob located on one side of the top retaining bar.
STEP 3:Pull out the fixing bar
Pull out the fixing bar from the other side to separate the door flap from the door frame.
STEP 4:Replace the door flap
Replace the door flap and reassemble the door frame. When closing the door frame, ensure that the white knob aligns with the groove on the other half.

This provided an incredibly easy replacement for a stock storm door that our dog broke. The durability of these is about 4 years with regular use and they are so easy to replace that I would call them a worthwhile investment for the added quality of like that having a dog door brings. They offer a great seal from the elements and look nice.

2 big dogs and 4 cats. They use this many -many times during the day and night. The door last about 3 years. To me that is good. I was surprised how it kept out the cold air. Great value to me.

I needed this in an emergency situation. We had two cattle dog visitors who have never have the chance to use a dog door and they were so excited they ran in and out non stop and broke the door. I needed a replacement fast and I got this overnight. It was pretty easy to install, only issue was removing the bar. But once installed there is a slight gap all along the edge so air comes in. I didn’t return because I needed a door. But next time I would just buy the entire door kit instead of replacing the “flap” part.

Love it, fits perfect, easy installation, great price. I live in windy Az and my old flap door would stay open in wind. This door has only opened 1 time in 40 mph winds. 20lb Chihuahua mix and 70lb Australian Sheppard took about 2 minutes and 1 treat to figure it out. My house is so much warmer because it stays shut not allowing air to come in.
