We have had a doggy door before and it was an aluminum frame with two sides and each side have in a flat we decided to try something different in a different brand. It was easy to cut out and install and fit very well. Flimsy nor does it seem to be that cheaply made. Took a few minutes for our dogs to get used to it and see if they can go out. The only issue we have is now our dogs fly in and out.

I have yet to instal this but I can share my initial impressions.WAY better than the plastic one I have which has broken in several spots after less than a year of use. Solidly built, all metal frame. The downside as I see it. This one can not be modified to fit in narrower spaces. The plastic one had a solid frame and I was able to remove some of the edge of the frame to get it to fit in a narrower space. If I cut this one narrower it will fall apart as the frame in its full width is necessary to hold the frame together. But I suspect I can modify the house to make it work.

This is a quality doggy door, made from sturdy aluminum with 3 flaps for insulation. But what I like most about this door is it's telescoping tunnel depth for installing in a WALL. This isn't recommended for a door as it starts at almost 4" thick/deep. This could even be installed in an 8" thick block wall, if you had the tools to cut through the block. My first doggy door, meant for a man door but installed in a wall, had to be screwed in from both sides as the "tunnel pieces couldn't reach each other. A lot of thought went into the design of this door.

Great quality dog door. It's metal design is sturdy and it comes with a guide for cutting the proper hole in your house. The tunnel design is deep enough for most homes wall thickness. There is an extra flap to help with insulation in colder climates. The locking flap is designed to lock open or closed and is low profile.

Very good quality dog door. Flaps keep out the cold well. Comes assembled so easy to use.

I was asking why it needed 3 flaps. Living in Michigan I found out why. It's for the insulation. Most doggie doors only have one flap and they let in a lot of cold air. This one also can fit almost any wall thickness. It also has a lock on both sides so if you are out doors and don't want the dogs to go inside without you. Or put in on the inside to keep them in the house. This is the best dog door I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this dog door.

This is a exceptional product. It's a great size for medium size dogs. It comes with simple to follow instructions and is easy to install. It has a good seal and is secure when closed. It's strong and has a great look overall. Works great!
