Perfect for my dog. Great size for my 13 lb Chihuahua mix.Works as described and was easy to install. Comes with a good guide/template in order to install. Seems way more durable than our old one. Good value for money.

I needed something on my screen door to stop my dog from driving me nuts. This was easy to install. I just used drywall screws instead of the weird plastic through bolts it provided, with the exception of the top one. My screen door is 3/4" and it says you can't use it on doors thinner than 1", but it seemed to work just fine. The only qualm I really have with this door is at the bottom of the flaps. There is a rubber weighted thing that slides onto the flaps, and for whatever reason, they aren't fixed in position, so they slide off to the side. When that happens, it entirely prevents the flaps from moving back and forth between the two sides. I don't know if there was a clip missing, or I'm supposed to glue them or something. I took them off for now, which makes the flap less secure, but also opens freely. Overall I'm pleased and after I figure out the little bottom parts it'll be perfect I think.

The review from Craig saved me a lot of time!!! Following his instructions, made it fairly simple to install; the only thing that stops it from being five stars are the plastic screws. They were slightly difficult to align and secure; I didn’t remove my door from the hinges which in hindsight may have added to the difficulty I had getting the screws to both holes of the doors. I just went back in with my drill bit and opened the hole from the exterior too and that worked.

This pet door is well-made with a sturdy frame, strong magnets, and double flaps that help with insulation—features I really appreciated. The flaps seal nicely, keeping out drafts while making it easy for pets to pass through. However, the sizing was a big issue for me. I was shocked to realize I could fit through it with no trouble, which is a major security concern. Since I got it for my small cats, I had to size it down significantly to make it safer. If you’re looking for a high-quality pet door, this one is great—just be very mindful of the dimensions!

This is a good product that unfortunately I cannot use. I'm returning it, but only because it's large enough for the raccoons and possums that live in my very rural area to come inside my house. I should have checked the measurements more closely, but that's on me. I didn't install it, because I could see it wouldn't work here. I had one around this size before, and occasionally possums or raccoons would get inside. My house is right beside a forest, and there's lots of wildlife around. From just looking at it, it looked like a quality product. Sadly though, it won't work for me.

I wish it was wider and. It as tall. The door flap kinda threw my cats off a little as well. Sometimes it wants to stick and it’s very stiff for them to push. But overall it’s a nice door just maybe not suited for smaller animals.

Looks nice. Seems sturdy. Definitely need to go to hardware store. The fasteners came with the pet door didn’t do it for me. Used screw kit, came with drill bit, screws, and anchors. Screw size 10-1.5 length. This screw size is what I used. Make sure the screws fit properly through the holes. Inner space liner wasn’t long enough, the top and bottom. The sides a little long, can cut to size. Double flaps works to keep drafts down.Just be ready to get your animal used to the double flaps.
