I wanted a gate that I could customize the size as needed. I may want to setup as a free-standing playpen or attach to the wall to separate rooms. I wasn't sure if the feet would protect my flooring from scratching, but they are nonslip and don't cause any damage. I've only setup as a free-standing playpen for now and it creates a nice, controlled space for our puppy. For our needs, we'll probably need to secure with the wall anchors to separate rooms as our little guy is pretty powerful when he wants out. Setup was simple - just insert rods to connect the panels. I setup using 6 and 8 to see how it would look. I only need one hand to open the latch because it opens both the top and bottom latches. I do need 2 hands to open the gate though - one to open latch and the other to open the gate. The only thing I wish is that it was foldable. If I want to use as a playpen, I have to remove all the rods to store. It would have been so much more convenient to be able to fold the panels together instead of reconnecting each time I set up. Overall, this will work good for our needs. It's not foldable or made for travel but for permanent placement (or playpens that aren't moved), this is a good gate.

So I definitely went a little overboard with this type of gate but I must say it has definitely exceeded my expectations especially that I just wasted money on that roll up fence that just didn't keep the dog at bay. Well made and if you have a problem than you are special. Would recommend big or small dog hell even little kids. I got the 219 inch white because I had 166 inch opening and 165 was the next step down. Yeah two thumbs up

Using it to fence in carport to keep dogs in. Stable on concrete and very well made. Very easy to assemble. Each segment is attached to the next segment with rods. We used the enclosed anchors to attach each end of the fence to an existing wooden fence for stability. There's even a little gate! We ordered the 2x15ft size and our dogs respect the fence and do not try to jump over it. Of course, they're short legged dogs. It's much nicer than expected and serves our purpose!

Chihuahua/Dautsund mix dog kept getting into an area he's not supposed to. This stopped him in his tracks. Worked really well for me. 5 stars good quality and sturdy construction. Instructions were good. You will need a drill or screwdriver. I used a drill to pre-drill the opening where the screws would go so the wood didn't split.
