Perfect for limiting the dogs’ room to roam and it’s short enough to step over easily. Quick and easy installation with included hardware.

Very effective at keeping the pup contained. Durable. Easy to install. Love that it is easy to open and close. Spring loaded roll easily rolls up when opening and unrolls when closing. Attach hook handles to tabs on the wall for closure. Holds well. Zero noise. Comes with all necessary equipment or hardware for installation. Perfect height for french bulldog pup. She is too smart for her own good so the floor hook is a great addition and is great at keeping her from trying to sneak underneath the netted gate. Great quality and value. Recommend if you're needing to keep your pet contained.

This is a nicely designed dog gate. It was easy to install, using a power drill. It comes with all the hardware you need, plus a variety of screws that I didn't need. Different kinds, depending on where you install it.I installed it behind the door into our garage, just in case the garage is open when I open the door. Just a note, it won't fit between a storm/screen door and regular door. There's a button on top that you push and slide, to lock and unlock. I like that it shows red when it's locked, and green when it's unlocked. The lock holds tight and keep the gate secure. The bottom of the gate is looser than the top, so if you have a tiny dog, they may be able to squeeze under it. There is a floor hook that adheres to the floor and attaches to the middle of the gate to prevent this. However, I installed mine a couple inches up from the floor, and it doesn't reach. I'm more concerned with my Morkie jumping over it, though. Something that might help with the bottom being loose, is if the hook was closer to the bottom of the gate, instead of the middle. I think they put it higher for baseboards, but it doesn't have to be that high.Overall, this is a good quality, easy to use dog gate, for small or old dogs. So far, it has kept my pup from running out.

Grandparents to two Frenchies who live in the same neighborhood as us so they visit frequently -- they are naturally mischievous so we close all the downstairs doors and have been barricading the top step to the Bonus room -- I didn't want a taller gate to deal with at the top of the steps so when I saw this I clicked and it's here -- installation was easy -- the tension spring is strong and it can easily roll unevenly if you don't hold the bar in the middle (written warnings included) -- also hold the bar firmly or it will retract really quick -- it is possible to operate with one hand but better with two -- to unlock once open you need to push the lock button down and slide it to the unlock position (some gates have you hold the button down for the entire process in either direction) -- this gate operates the way I like and I like how it is made -- I will investigate lowering the tension when I have time to do so

I recently installed the 15.7” H Mesh Short Dog Gate in my home, and it has been a practical addition for managing my small dog’s movements. The retractable mesh design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, blending seamlessly with my interior decor. Installation required drilling, but the provided instructions made the process straightforward. The gate extends up to 59 inches, offering flexibility for various doorways and staircases. Its low height allows for easy step-over access, which is convenient for daily use. However, I’ve noticed that the mesh can be slightly flimsy when fully extended, and particularly determined pets might attempt to push through or sneak under it. Overall, it serves its purpose well for calm pets and areas where a temporary barrier is needed.

I got this for my rv, since one of my poodles keeps pushing on the screen.Right out of the box, everything is fully assembled and ready to install. I inserted the upper and lower clips that attach to the wall, put the two sided tape on them, and then stuck the whole unit with the clips on it, to the wall. I then gently removed the unit, which left the clips behind on the wall (in their correct locations,) and installed the two screws per wall clip. The handle brackets are just as easy to install, and in total, it took me five minutes. The mesh is actually very strong and is hemmed with nylon on the edges, to prevent tearing.I'd recommend hanging this 4-6" above the floor so your dog won't jump it. It's not that tall, but once you elevate the unit, most dogs won't want to get over it.If you're looking for a spring loaded retractable dog gate that take a few minutes to correctly install, I'd give this a look at.

I like the fact that this gate will adjust to a wide opening. It is not very high. It came just up to my knee. My two dogs would be able to jump over it. To be fair, one of them does agility and even though he is a little shi-tzu, he has no fear of jumping. I would say that if your pet can jump up on the sofa or bed, they can jump over this gate. That being said, I think it would be good for containing puppies or older dogs. If you have stairs, it would be great to have at the bottom to keep them from climbing up and falling back down.It is versatile in how it can be installed. You can secure it to wood or to a stud in drywall. The bottom mounting piece is adjustable so you can mount it above the baseboard trim.I did find the amount of screws in the kit to be a bit intimidating, but I'm not exactly a handy person. It seems that they included different hardware to make it easier to mount on different surfaces. The button used to open and close it is nice, and it seems to work well. (I didn't actually mount it because as I said, my dogs would jump it.) I did hold it on one end, and engage the button and it worked well. The instructions looked to be very clear and are well illustrated with actual photos. I appreciated that!Overall, I felt it is a pretty good product depending on the pet you have.
