As others have said the tips get clogged with dirt and the water pretty much just pours out. I was disappointed with the quality of plastic, which is pretty much just thin. A couple were even dented if you can believe that. The sizes are OK as the smaller ones fit small plants quite well. But you do have to get them in at an angle if you want the water to last more than an hour.
