These little clay creatures are great for keeping your plants watered all week long. I filled up four of them and place them around the house in pots and in the ground. After 5 days there was still some water left in the containers but The dirt was still moist. These worked great for keeping my pots moistened while not damp in the plants were very happy. They also look cute. And my wife loved them.

These watering stakes are a garden saver! They are a good quality terra cotta and very sturdy. The bright colors and adorable faces help make the garden fun and inviting. These are so cute and they work! They are definitely made for larger pot sizes, 6in and over to be able to fit in comfortably with the plant. They are larger on the bottom than previous watering stakes that I have purchased but they aren't open on the bottom so they water more evenly and slowly than having an open bottom. We found that soaking them for about an hour inside and out in a glass of water was most effective, then fill them and place them in your pot. It works because the water saturates the terracotta bottom and drips into the soil, watering the plant. It is most effective if the terracotta is already saturated when being placed in the pot. Great little find and my kids love them in the plants, they are really cute and sturdy!
