For resistive loads:SSR current = 2 x operating current of the load (heating equipment, etc.)

For inductive loads:SSR current = 6 x operating current of the load (motor, etc.)

For capacitive loads:SSR current = 10 X the operating current of the load (capacitance, etc.)

For example:

There is a water pump 2200W, 220V, then the Rated voltage is 10A, because the motor is Inductive load, so you need to buy a 10A X 6=60A SSR.

This worked as expected for a 240V 15 amp motor, when activated the LED also comes on this unit. The terminals seem nice and worked well and appear suitable for the expected size of wire this would need. I kind of wish this had power and an activated light instead of just the one light that shows the activation signal. The labeling on this is also a bit odd showing as input and output with no indicator of what size iw switch, and activation. I assumed out was the power in and out to the load and the in was the trigger signal which was right. But the way it shows on this it makes seem like this could be a 240V model and the activation connection is somewhere else or wireless. It works as is but just seems could be better.

This relay was installed in an outdoor box on a DIN rail to control a pump motor. The opto isolator ensures that any control electronics connected to the relay will not be damaged by any current flow from the relay.The heatsink will ensure that the relay remains cool. This is a good device with good features and specifications.

The LCLCTC AC to AC SSR 40 Amp Solid State Relay is being used to control a water pump.The relay is mounted on a 4 inch section of DIN Rail inside a plastic box. The relay attached to the rail easily and the terminals for the wiring are the right size.I have confidence in this relay, and I recommend it.
