This relay module is great for many different applications that require high/low level switching of 120v power. The module itself is well built with good solid solder connections, screw terminals for both high and low voltage and holes for mounting on standoffs. With a selectable high low trigger and a power indicator LED this device can be Coupled with a motion sensor or a low voltage switch to control a variety of powered items from fun projects to handy household gadgets.

While you can buy a basic 12v 30A relay for less, but the time you design and make a PCB and the other circuitry on this module, you're almost certainly paying more for the setup, so for hobbyist projects or rapid prototyping this is a decent little module. While there's no manual included per se, everything you need to know to get it up and running is on the board. Smaller screw terminals for the 12v circuitry, larger screw terminals for high voltage switching with common, NO, and NC poles. Once 12v power is supplied there's a power indicator LED. As described, you can select the relay controls to be high or low triggers, and the module I received was set to low-level trigger by default, in other words, short it to the ground and the relay, and a relay indicator LED engages. Switch the jumper pins to high and you short to 5v. Add in some holes for mounting the PCB to a project and you're good to go.

This is a great value for yet another piece of tech that use to be much more expensive not too long ago. This is an amazing product. Comes in a simple anti-static bag. There is no documentation included but a quick online search will help out. Five stars from me!
