I used 2 of these SSR's to power 10 amp heater loads. They are mounted on a 4" X 10" X 1/8" thick copper plate. After 15 minutes of run time the body of the relays are too hot to touch.I examined the construction and the bottom plate appears to be made of some type of metal I have never seen on relays like this. It almost looks like 'pot metal'. Perhaps its zinc. It sure isn't conducting the heat well as the copper plate is only mildly warm - even with heat conductive grease applied.I do not believe these will last long. Would not buy again.
