You will get plants with a total of at least 12 leaves combined (see 2nd picture to compare size to a quarter). Water lettuce is great at removing toxic chemicals (e.g. ammonia, heavy metals, etc.) and its roots look like a gorgeous chandelier cascading down into your aquarium. Shrimp and fish fry especially love them.

If you select the feeding ring option, you will also get one of our invisible 2.5" feeding rings that is auto-leveling and fully customizable to any size using standard 3/16" airline tubing (see images and video).

You will get 1-2 heads of another type of aquatic plant we think you will like. If you buy 2, you will get 2 unique mystery plants (3, 4, etc.).

How and Where We Grow Our Plants

All plants are grown in our in-house aquatic nursery in California, which operates in a snail and duckweed free environment (though we do carry "giant duckweed," which is much larger than traditional duckweed, and we utilize beneficial freshwater scuds). All established aquatic environments, including ours, contain microfauna such as seed shrimp, limpets, and infusoria. A few of these "hitchhikers" are unavoidable and are not anything to fear.

Live Plant Promise

Plants may turn partly yellow/brown during transit and roots may be damaged. That is OK — they are extremely resilient and will begin multiplying within about one week of being placed in your tank. What you are buying should be viewed as a "seed" from which you will eventually get more plants than you know what do do with!

A little more than half of them came without roots(they were in the bag, just detached) but the bonus plants were a nice touch. We will see if the good ones grow. The ones that were decent are just that, decent.Pictured are the roots just floating around in my shrimp tank.

It’s mid winter in the Midwest and I was worried about the plants I order online not making it in shipping and ordered from here and another place, my plants from here arrived beautiful while the other shops plants arrived completely melted. Ordered and arrived both the same days. It’s been a week and my water lettuce has already practically doubled its amount. The bonus free plant for me was riccia water spangles and it came in beautiful as well and is also thriving! Fantastic communication with seller as well! Highly recommend this shop for live aquarium plants

Received the dwarf water lettuce pretty quickly and in great condition despite the cold weather. The extra plant is appreciated greatly :) I separated them so they can avoid going into the skimmer but as they multiple I’ll free them. My bettas thought the riccia water spangles were food and tried to eat them lol will definitely buy more in the future!

I got Water lettuce. It was over 100 in AZ when they delivered to the mailbox and sat in there for a couple hours. I was worried they'd be wilted and although the water was super hot, the plants were in good condition. I can't wait for everything to grow and get bigger. I was so impressed I ordered directly from the seller right after getting them, they just seemed like a clean, well run business with how I got my shipment and the 20% 2 plants didn't hurt :). Update- the plants arrived healthy but the water lettuce has melted within 2 days. It’s my fault I’m sure.

While this plant was at least Alive, unlike most competitors, when I received it, it didn’t last more than a day before my turtle ate it

Seller reached out through Amazon to alert me of shipping. Shipped and arrived prior to listed Amazon times.Plants in great condition with no brown or wilted parts. I took pictures of boxing and package. They did deliver through USPS and were in mailbox. Weather was not an issue but if we were at our average temp for my reigion, it may have been a little rough on the plants.They are in aquarium now and my fish are very curious of them!Edit. I have had the drwaf lettuce in my tank since received and no issues or die-off. Already sending out smaller leaves.The free floating plant I got was very cute but seemed to attract the snails in my tank. This is sad cause the leaves break apart but also fine cause it makes it easier to get snails out.
