End caps are important they protect handle bar ends and can save you a bit of pain if you get stabbed by your handle bars. These stay snug! It's great to have extras.

I use these as a replacements because I was having an issue with others falling out when I put my bike in and out of the car. I was hoping that the insert design would hold it better. It is somewhat better but the plastic is fairly cheap and it actually snapped on a couple of them and the other ones came out. I bought a bunch of them but I decide to go with more of an expandable plug version
