These tips are just what I needed to plug the holes on ends of the handle bars on my mountain bike. The handy supplied hex key worked as advertised and adequately tightened the cover in place. Simple. Great quality and color. Anodized aluminum. Good transaction. Cheers!

It works, and looks okay, but I needed a rubber mallet to get it inserted into the handle bar of my Specialized mountain bike. Easy enough, but not quite as easy as they make it sound. Definitely isn't coming out!

The Keywell plugs look nice and cover the diameter of your handlebar ends. Good customer service.

My bike fell down and the plug cracked. I put it back in, but on the next ride, it fell off somewhere. The bike and everything on it is pretty expensive, so this was disturbing. I purchased this product and installed it. It has an excellent system for fitting into the slot and tightening the grip so it is virtually impossible for it to break or fall out. The exposed part is aluminum so it is much more durable than plastic. Although this is not a big deal item, you can't ride if your bar tape is unraveling. This product is probably the best thing you can buy for this use and I am thinking that it will be the last one even if the tape is replaced.

I wanted to replace bar ends on my wife's bike. One had been lost and the other damaged. The Kewell bar ends have expansion bolts that should prevent loss in the future.Note that there are no instructions with these bar ends. Ther is a detail you will want to be aware of when installing these. The expansion plug inside the bar end needs to be unscrewed so that the expansion plug cannot touch the bar end before inserting it into the handlebar. When inserting the bar end, insert using the screw post, not the bar end.If you simply push the assembly into the handlebar using the cap, the expansion plug will slip onto the bar end before it is fully inside the handlebar. This will break the expansion plug. These look great, it's easy to figure out how to install and I'm very happy with the result.

I read through the reviews and was a bit skeptical of some locking end plugs for 9 bucks, especially since others had mentioned that they stripped out or broke on the install. I lost an end plug on a rough trail to a tree last week and was in need of something better and quick for my full suspension, so I looked around on Amazon. I've done 2 rides with these and they've stayed put. You just need to make sure that they're in there tight, not forcing the included Allen wrench to over tighten. After the first ride, and clipping another tree to find the left one loose, I just gave it a quick tighten, 1/4 - 1/2 turn and after another ride yesterday kept checking on them, as we were in the trees again, they stayed put. Cheap, looks good, and works as expected - just don't crank them in too tight!
