I used this to switch the input source from two different 12 V input for a DC to DC converter @ 40A. The construction is awesome and pretty easy to use.

Works great for switching between RV BAttery/Inverter/Solar power and Shore 50Amp service power. The additional contacts allowed me to add additional features in the power switch over with this switch unit.

Holding up great so far. Wish it would have came with small mounting screws. Would be a hard find for others but had a stash from years of electrical work.

Good, solid rotary switch. I was able to fit two leads of 6awg wire into each terminal. I died this to split 240 off from my I floor heat boiler since I was out of breakers and I only have a 150 amp main breaker. Already have a sub panel as well so this was the only way I could figure to get me 240 to my garage. Wired it up to a outlet and ran 6awg extension cord out to welder. Worked great. Now 0 is off, 1 is garage 240 and 3 is boiler. I also used a standard electrical box since the boxes these are supposed to fit in were out of stock everywhere. Its a 18$ electrical box from Menards, with 1" and 3/4 " cutouts. Worked great, just drilled holes on it. Not sure if I'm breaking code, probably am but I don't really care atm.

Used this to switch 220v circuit from air compressor to welder. The switch is sturdy, has a good feel, the clamps are tight so the 6 gage wires won't fall out, and the installation was secure in the box cover. Only complaint was that the instructions give dimensions for a different switch, so be careful to measure the switch before drilling holes in the cover plate or you'll be screwed.
