They looked amazing for about six hours until the winds of a strong Texas thunderstorm caught the sail and bent the base. It needs four vertical vanes welded to the threaded tube and base plate for additional support. They are well made but just not tough enough for my application.

I bought the poll kit the directions do not tell you the drill bit size for the anchoring hardware. The hardware that was supplied in the kit is junk do not use it. use the sleeve-type hardware from a major chain store use at least 1/2 inc by 5 or 6 inch long. in addition the poll really is not strong enough for a 25 x 25 sail like i have the poll would be good for anything smaller that 10x10 sail.

I purchased two of these poles for a sail shade on my new deck. I hate flimsy hardware on any project. The quality and sturdiness of these Yescom poles was impressive. They use heavy steel with a beautiful powder coat finish. Tightly-machined threads ensure that the connections between segments are very solid. This looks like a professional product.Additionally, the seller was very quick to help me resolve a delivery issue that was not their fault.

This only comes with hardware for concrete. We were putting it on our deck and had to buy different hardware to secure it. Other than that, it’s been pretty good.

Excellent product. Solid with a great black finish. We had bought another pole set since that had a poor black finish and small base that we ended up welding on a new one and spray painting it black. This product was far superior.
