The included clams help to ensure the connections is secured, just make sure you use thimbles and cover the connections with some protective “paint”. --

We've purchased a few shade sails recently to install over two dog exercise areas, our patio and over my koi pond. Those all needed to be anchored to a solid structure or post, and that isn't necessarily going to be exactly at the length of the sail. So, this cable is used to attach the sail grommet to the structure or post via this very strong, metal cable. It comes with the necessary hardware. This is the proper product to use to install the shade sails, and it means little future maintenance!

I've used cables like this to anchor portable structures and it holds up very well and is very strong. This is as nice a cable as I have used. The ends were neatly sealed whereas some I have purchased were just cut and allowed to fray. It comes with 8 of the correct size clamps for this cable which is appreciated.The description says this cable is coated but I could not detect any coating. If is is coated it is extremely thin so if you really want a coated cable you may need to find it elsewhere.

The wire rope and clamps are all well made and working perfectly for me so far. I was fortunate to have a cutting tool already, but if you don't have one it's definitely a worthwhile inclusion to make trim-ups a snap. The clamps are strong stainless steel and the wire rope feels well made and measurements are right on.

Strong, solid cable with all the hardware I needed.All the wire is smooth and the ends are even as well. The cable is wound tightly so I can easily snip it and it doesn't unwind to much before I cand secure the ends. although anyone who uses this and cuts it should be sure to tape up the cable before cutting just incase.

This set of wire and clamps was perfect for hanging my shade sail. I like that it came with 8 clamps so I could use it with my square sail. It is heavy duty and strong. I used this with heavy duty attachments and carabiners and it is staying nice and taught.
