These posts are sturdy - not the flimsy thin ones that have bent for us in the past. They also are perfect for the deck as they come with brackets to keep them mounted along the post line. Great way to secure the light string and look professional.

I have had a 4x4 post holding up my string lights for years. I hated the look of it, and thought about trying to engineer something that would look better. Then I saw these poles! They are very sturdy and reach pretty far into the sky! Each pole has 3 smaller poles that fit together well, and using a screw knob, hold firmly in place. In my case, the 3rd pole would have put my lights far higher than I wanted, so I only ended up using two, giving me a perfect height for my deck. The attachment to my fence was easy, and I like that the brackets actually keep the pole a few inches off the 4x4. This means you can use a post cap light or similar without the pole being in the way!assembly is easy, and the only caution I have is to not rely on your 4x4 to be straight! Put the top bracket in place, and either use a level or eye sight to get the pole perfectly vrticle.These are great! I reocmmend!

These poles definitely aren't flimsy like other yard light poles I've seen. They're heavy and sturdy, and all the hardware you need is included. There were two welded nuts that needed some attention, one that had a small piece of weld that kept the tightening bolt from going in all the way so I had to carefully file it down with a small round file. The other got loaded with so much paint that the bolt couldn't go into the nut. Otherwise these are well made and I'm happy with them.

These helped transform our deck into a beautiful outdoor room. We did reinforce with zip ties for extra support because we did not want to drill tons of holes in the deck, so we didn’t use all of the holes. This probably would not be needed if you secured them using all the holes. The height is perfect for hanging lights. It has survived rainy and windy days. We have gotten lots of compliments. They hold the lights beautifully. Absolutely love them.

Setting up the pole was a breeze, and I managed to do it entirely by myself. The package includes instructions and all the necessary tools, making the installation process straightforward. However, there are a few considerations worth mentioning.The poles are surprisingly tall, and while I could handle most of the assembly without assistance, the very top piece required a stepstool due to its height. If you're not 6 feet tall, be prepared to have a stepladder handy for the final step. This might be a minor inconvenience for some, but it's worth noting.The provided instructions were helpful. I found the process intuitive, and I appreciated that I didn't need to use all the tools provided. Interestingly, the gloves included in the package seemed unnecessary for the assembly, and I ended up not using them.One notable point of success was the tent's durability. It held up remarkably well through a windy night. This gives me confidence in its performance during various weather conditions.
