I needed to install hinges in a cabtI am making. I always used chisels, but this time thought I would use my router. Practiced a bit on scrap wood , then did my cabinet. Tool worked fine. Sharp enough. Don’t know how long it would last, but is fine for my limited use. Would buy again.

I needed to replace the rotting frame on an exterior door, and decided to go with a PVC frame kit from Menards. I needed to mortise out the hinge and latch locations on the frame. I made my own jig from 1/2 plywood (traced the hinge and cut if out). I did a test cut first on a leftover piece of PVC. The bit worked great - the cut was smooth, clean and followed the jig perfectly. It was for the back door on my shed, and this was my first time doing this, so my expectations weren't high, but it turned out great. Definitely worth the money.

I used this to mortise three large recesses in a live edge slab of cherry for a fireplace mantle. I had no problems using the bit. It is an AMAZING value for the money. However, by the end I noticed a fair amount of the powder coating had chipped off, so I'm not sure how long it will last for after repeated uses. Fortunately, I don't do much mortising. So, if you only occasionally make mortises, I would recommend this bit, especially if you are just getting into woodworking. Also, make sure you check your router's recommended speed settings--that made a drastic change in performance, so there is a small learning curve with this, just as there is with any tool.

Worked fine. 4" Hinge and lock mortising 20 door slabs. Pine Stiles. No issues with guide bearing stick or bind and mortise edges were clean. Right size for DeWalt cordless router, shallow cut depth at about 75% speed. See how the cutters hold up over time but seems good value

I tightened the set screw before I started, then jumped into my project. It work well - no complaints. A nice product at a good price plus I didn't have to buy a full set when I only needed this one size.
