I ordered the XFasten Black Chalkboard Tape Removable, 2-Inch x 30-Foot, Black, Smudge Resistant Stick-on tape. The first rolls I bought circa-3-years ago and again last year had a grid pattern on the back that made it SUPER easy to consistently cut sizing for labeling airtight containers here in humid Florida. Those two rolls worked flawlessly. I washed before I prepped the surface with alcohol wipe and placing the labels. One to 3 years later, they still hold when I frequently wash the containers. This roll... not the same quality.This roll lacked the grid pattern on the back of the tape which really slows the process down when trying to be consistent in the applications for both my office and my pantry. Why remove that? Really makes it a pain in the butt to cut well.Putting that aside for the moment, this roll's adhesion is not nearly as good. In fact, despite cleaning the area with a Dawn & water then prepping with alcohol wipe before dry, this tape peeled back without any catalyst to do so. I wound up having to use a glue stick to get this tape to stick to both plastic containers and the painted, wood Ikea magazine storage boxes. Funny part is... the labels from the original rolls have been washed and rewritten many times. The old labels remain adhered flawlessly while the labels from this roll peel off. Ultimately, I had to use a glue stick and a hair dryer to get them to stick.I now need a new roll since this roll is useless for my Kitchen Pantry since I need to wash those regularly.So... I can no longer recommend this product for all the reasons I stated above.

Being able to reuse the jars without having to scrape off the old label is great. I love being able to make the new labels any size.

I love the quality of this chalkboard tape! Great to use for organizing, labeling, and can customize to any size you need! Sticks well on plastic bins.

I don’t like the quality of this brand. I have to put extra adhesive on the back so they will stick.

Needed something to organize and label all my canned foods. I built a shelf and this stuck very well to the wood. It wipes off easily and doesn't leave old chalk ghosts. I will be purchasing so more as I ran out and have 2 shelves to go! The backing is very easy to peel off too.

Works wish you would’ve came with moreIt works really well and I really really like it a lot I had fun putting in lots of different places I wish it had been longer. I wish I would’ve read the details more and knowing how long it is
