I hate shoes. That was my reasoning to trying these, and they have proven comfortable!

Took a little getting used to flat no padding inside but my feet got stronger and happier with all that wiggle room for toes. Think I'll try their hikers next with the comfy insoles. Old ones are sturdy and still functional, just dirty.

These are the most comfortable hiking boots I've had. Being a barefoot shoe person with high arches and wide feet, makes it challenging. I wore them hiking in Sedona and didn't have any issues!

I bought these on a trial bases. The shoe is so skinny I couldn't fit my wide foot into it. I have wide feet which these are promoted to accommodate but couldn't even get my foot into the shoe.

They are so comfortable. I first bought the Whitin to see if Barefoot shoes were for me. I noticed they helped with posture and strength in feet and legs so I went ahead and bought these. Much more comfortable and so nice having toes splayed out. I Love them

I ordered 6.5 (UK) as saw on Xero site to go half size bigger ("DayLite Hiker Fusion – Women – The Women’s DayLite Hiker Fusion runs small. We recommend choosing 1/2 size larger than your usual size."), but even though size 7 appears to have been sent (according to the shoe box it came in), they are too small - my toes touch the top of the shoe and the shoe itself is too narrow across the bunion/ball of the foot (I understood the "wide toe box" should have meant my toes could wiggle but they cannot). A better instruction would be to go a whole size bigger or even one-and-half sizes bigger - there is no chance at all of wearing these with the good quality thick hiking socks I bought to go with them. Having said all this, the heel support is really good, grasps the ankle and keeps the heel in place, and the 'zero level' aspect between toe and heel drop was not a problem. Very disappointed that sizing - which is fundamental to good fit for walking boots - means I cannot wear them on the walking holiday I specifically purchased them for.

I love xero shoes, huge fan, almost the only shoes I wear, but never have I had such a hard time with them! I always wearXero in W8 or or W8.5. So I ordered W8.5 and it was definitely too small. Ordered a W9 and right on the border of too smaller (definitely still too small for a hiking boot since you want to leave room for your feet to swell) but also there was a weird defect in the left shoe? Weird ridge or ball that I could feel in the shoe, very uncomfortable. Right foot felt great other than just a bit too small. I guess I'll order a W9.5 and give them one more shot?? Never have I ever worn a woman's 9.5 before...I'll adjust my rating if the W9.5 works***EDIT*** the 9.5s work well, super comfortable, leaving it 4 stars because I usually wear an w8 or w8.5 and w9.5 seems excessive.

I was soooo excited for these, unfortunately they consistently cause blisters on the back of my ankles that are sooo bad. I love the rest of shoe, perfection for toes and feeling the ground while still offering protection and flexibility and are perfect fit everywhere except the ankle, no matter what try I still end up with massive painful blisters. I sincerely wish I would have gone for a low top version. I can't afford to buy another pair, and my determination to find a way to wear them just led me to feeling like I can't return now because they are definitely used. Overall I am extremely disappointed but mostly just at my choice for a high top, they're very well made just brutal blisters. Maybe I'll try cutting them? I don't know I just hate that I wasted my money, I definitely suggest low top.
