So I bought these for a recent trip to Iceland. During the trip I wore the boot while hiking through rocks and snow and during a rain storm that lasted days. Initially I was going to give these boots a 5 star rating. They fit great, we’re comfortable and warm. They also seemed to be waterproof. But during the rain storm the boots began to leak through the seems on the right and left toe! Needless to say, my feet got soaked and then super cold. I bought these because Salomon boots run small and these ran big. Since I need a 14.5 shoe these are perfect. Would recommend for dry hikes!

Love these!!! I tried maybe 15 other brand before settling on these— I have very high arches/ problematic feet. These are comfy with my inserts, light weight, and waterproof! They’re worth every penny, but…. they do seem to be scuffing in the center of my arch. Maybe it’s the way I walk?? Regardless, they’re still light weight and water proof, which is what I was looking for (tested waterproof by walking in the rain and muck with a puppy ). Even if these don’t last long, I will buy another pair of these after these are worn out/ done just due to the amazing comfort and waterproofness. Happy adventuring!

This is my second pair that I ordered. I usually wear a 10 extra wide in my work boots from Rock Rooster so I ordered the same size for these hiking boots. The toe box is a little more narrow on the hiking boots so I sent them back and reordered a size 10.5 extra wide. Perfect fit! These hiking boots are so comfortable. I have some foot challenges and when I wear these hiking boots they all but disappear. These boots are more comfortable then any of my sneakers and have become my go to shoes. I leave them a bit loose when I take them off and when I put them on my feet slide right into them. Lacing up is easy. A quick pull on the laces tighten them all the way to the bottom then a crisscross on the speed laces and tie them. Often times with boots there’s a lot of tugging and pulling on the laces to get them tightened up. I’ve been a Rock Rooster customer and fan for about 3 years now. Their quality is always high and their comfort level is unsurpassed. I live in Arizona and now that we’re having cooler temperatures I’m looking forward to some desert hikes. I’m confident these boots will fill the bill perfectly. Lastly, I need to mention that they are very lightweight! Buy and enjoy!!!
