About this item

  • LIGHTWEIGHT, BREATHABLE HIKING BOOTS for WOMEN: Mesh upper offers the protection and breathability you need for day hikes, camping, and long trips in the outdoors
  • RUGGED TRACTION OUTSOLE with DRAINAGE: Walk through streams and puddles without a care! Built-in drainage allows water to flow right through the bottom of the boot, so feet dry quickly
  • ULTRA GRIPPY OUTSOLE made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) helps you stick like a gecko to wet rocks and slick trails. A cushioned collar locks your ankle into place for secure footing up rocky scrambles and scree fields
  • CUSHIONED SUPPORT from a two-tone foam midsole absorbs the impact of each step to buffer your joints from wear and tear. This all-important feature protects your feet, knees, hips, and back in the short and long term.
  • EDDIE BAUER hiking boots live up to the legacy that started over 100 years ago in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to inspire, enable, and empower everyone to experience the outdoors and live their adventure.

The Eddie Bauer Women's Klamath Mid-Height Hiker is the ultimate hiking boot for all season adventuring. This expertly designed boot offers everything you need for comfort, stability, and durability.

HIKE FASTER: Wearing lightweight mountain boots is the best way to make it to the summit on time. Without the unnecessary weight some hiking boots bring, you'll move quickly through every step of the journey.

HIKE SAFER with an ultra grippy thermoplastic rubber outsole. Boulders, paths, and logs are no match for the Klamath hiker's ability to stay steady on uneven terrain. Extra grip gives you the peace of mind to step confidently and trust your footing.

HIKE IN COMFORT. There's no need for long hikes to end in crippling fatigue. The Eddie Bauer Klamath cradles your feet with extra care and cushion thanks to the supportive foam midsole. Whether you're trekking light and fast or carrying a large pack for a week in the backcountry, the Klamaths have your back (and your feet)!

HIKE DRY: The Women's Klamath hiking boots are water resistant to help repel rain in the event of unexpected showers. Should you need to step through a fast-flowing stream or puddle, feet will dry out quickly thanks to built-in drainage and breathable mesh uppers for airflow. This breathable design is preferable to waterproof boots that restrict airflow, leaving your feet hot and sweaty.

Trust Eddie Bauer to all your outdoor gear needs. Founded in 1920 by mountaineer and gear designer with a passion for quality, we continue honoring his legacy with every piece of footwear, clothing, and technical gear we create. We hope to inspire you get outside and #LiveYourAdventure.

Almost perfect. These boots are really comfortable. They have good ankle support, traction and tread. As for fit, my shoe size is women's 9.5. I usually get a size 10 in boots. After reading reviews I decided to order a 9.5 for this purchase. Good call. Fit is good and still have room for a light insole or heavier sock. I would give this a 4.5 star rating for one reason. I would like a thicker sole. These boots are perfect for pavement, dirt paths or gravel. The terrain here in northern New Mexico is sandy, uneven and with lots of irregular rocks. I feel every rock through the soles. Its not painful but for me it is annoying.

I returned this item because they had a tight fit. I have not received a credit to my credit card.

Slipped these on and they feel like they were made for my feet. I wear them almost everyday, it's been helping my feet and back pain.

These are absolute garbage. They are so cheaply made, and the soles are so thin that they should not be described as hiking shoes, boots, or walking shoes. I just wore them on a 5 km hike on a stone path (stones about 2-3 inches in size), and I could feel all the rock points through the boots because the soles were so thin, and my feet hurt. I bought the same brand of Eddie Bauer hiking shoes twice in the summer because they were fantastic, and I used them frequently on the same hike I did today. These are not even close to the same quality. The best way to describe them is a cheap knockoff for a "look." I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. I now question anything with the Eddie Bauer name on it.

I thought these ran a tad narrow across the ball of the foot. I do not have wide feet but occasionally mediums are slightly too narrow, and that was the case with this and a couple other Eddie Bauer models I tried. The quality seemed ok, not great, but reasonable for the cost. I did not keep them so I am unsure of their comfort or durability over time.

Bought these boots for hiking in Costsa Rica and also at home in the summer months. Have worn them for a few hikes and they feel comfortable and have lots of room which is good for me because I need to fit my orthodics in them. If I did not have to do this, then I would take a half size smaller then normal. The footbed has no arch support so you may want to put an insole in anyway and that is why I did not give them a highter score. I also like it that they are not completely water proof and so they breath better in hot weather but dry out fast if they get wet. Will see how they hold up in the long run.

First of all, after walking in the morning dew with these, my feet were all wet from the dew on the grass. They were a bit larger than expected but I knew this so for more comfort I put in a pair of padded insoles. These are no more comfortable than regular walking shoes so not more comfortable or waterproof. Might be good hiking shoes for trails where there is no grass, definitely not my backwoods. The one point I gave was for the fact that they are not slippery.

Nice looking, well made shoes but super wide. I have a slightly wide forefoot due to bunion but I don't have to order wide shoes yet. These were too wide in the toe box and the heel. The heel was so sloppy it was weird. The length was fine. There's also no cushioning that I could feel.
