I hooked up this faucet in my garage to have hot and cold water. My wall thickness is the standard 2 x 4 stud. On the other side of the garage wall is my kitchen.I used two PEX elbows to hot and cold PEX water lines coming up from the crawl space. Used the PEX clamps with the clamping tool and they worked great. In a previous setup with a different faucet, I did use sharkbite fittings, but they leaked.Depending on your application the install can be tricky, but this a very durable and solid faucet.

I installed this product into a dog wash station and it works perfectly. The holes was already in the sink and I felt better using two u bolts to secure it into place.

I wanted a nice finished hose bib for my garage to wash cars and general clean up. I figured if I was going to go through all the trouble of plumbing one water line for a hose bib...I figured it wouldn't be much harder to plumb a second "hot" line too! I so glad I did! I live in Las Vegas and installed this hose bib in an insulated garage with heater and A/C. We might get one or two nights a year below freezing and only for an hour or two so I wasn't in need of a freeze proof hose bib. It is so nice to be able to add a little warm water when washing the car or the floors. I also highly recommend getting the Woodford DMP (search for it, it is a mount for the faucet and has a nice finish cover, you'll be glad you got it). I was able to connect it to standard PEX with no issues. I absolutely love this faucet! I would recommend it and would buy it again if ever needed.

seems like a good quality hose bib does what I wanted, hot and cold hose bib in a freeze free area.
